Blue Lake Lookout
Never been here when the lake is at its bluest but it's still a spectacle at any time. Even at sunrise on an early spring morning you can see the lake has started its transition from grey to its magnificent blue. Very good track around the lake for a walk or run, around 3.5km. Doesn't matter which way you go, there will be a climb. Various lookouts around the lake. Plenty of parking available too.

Absolutely beautiful Blue lake in Mount Gambier. Is more blue through the summer months. Colour can change in the cooler months

Incredible place the colour of the water us as you see in the photos, the whole crater lakes area is simply beautiful, with plenty of things to see and do, hiking trails are all around the lakes, picnic/day use areas are in the valley lakes area, if your making the trip to the lime stone coast region this is definitely a spot I would recommend to visit

A Natural Wonder.Where do I begin, this is one of the most amazing natural lakes I have visited in my life. The water of the lake was crystal blue and there are many viewing platforms located around the lake.I believe the best lookout would be the platform located near the holiday park and another just up the road.The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and the fauna around the lake is full of life. The lookout platforms seems to be a popular spot for people to secure their love locks onto the structure.Definitely a must see for the family.Follow me and join me on my next adventure!IG: the.koffert.kiwi

Great view of the beautiful blue lake ,a truly scenic lake that is an amazing hole of very blue water .This is a unique volcanic limestone vent , and is virtually bottomless .Every time we visit the lake the water is bluer and bluer ,even turquoise.We will be back so.e time .
