We recently had to have a new home construction valued by our bank for the purpose of finance. The request was initially sent to a different company who came back with a valuation which was completely out of touch with values in the current market. When we questioned the original valuation the reasons given made it clear that the valuer had no idea what they were doing. We went back to the bank and asked for an audit valuation (second valuation) and it was sent to Herron Todd White. The same day I was contacted by the HTW who arranged to attend the property the next day. Their valuation came back in a reasonable timeframe and was in line (if not higher) than our research suggested. Thanks Herron Todd White - we would not hesitate to use or recommend your services again.

Mass property valuations in the complex where we lease a townhouse. We have a doorbell at the screen door. My partner was home and heard the screen door rattle just once, she was expecting the valuer (between 8:30am and 5:00pm) and immediately went downstairs to greet him but he was already inside our townhouse.My partner gestured to him, that we have a doorbell why did you not use it? His reply was I pressed it twice". My partner replied that we have multiple doorbell speakers upstairs and down and the doorbell was not pressed. Our doorbell was working perfectly before he arrived and after he arrived. Guess who was telling lies?This man's behaviour suggests tenants are not entitled to any courtesy and you just use the keys and go inside...Oh and too bad if you're taking a shower or getting dressed

What a fantastic experience it was! My broker ordered a valuation through the bank and I got a phone call from Herron Todd White Chermside the next morning. The booking process was so easy and they even sent a message with all the details of the booking after the call!Now fast forward to valuation day. The lady (Linda Lee) was so professional, polite and courteous during the whole process! I’ve dealt with a few valuation companies /valuers over the past few years, and she’s the FIRST one ever to take shoes off even without asking (we’ve got shoe covers in place ready for her/other valuers so you know how bad the previous experiences were). Anyways can’t speak enough of how impressed and happy we are about this whole experience!
