Was a bit slow to react to the job I had booked in 5 days earlier, had calls to say they would get back with quote on the job, then when a hour had past I called again, then they said they would get back in 5 mins and I had travelled from Tooradin all the way to Warragul without a phone call, only to call in and find out mechanic had gone to lunch, so still had no quote at 1.30pm in the afternoon.I can understand people are busy, but I was almost made to feel that it was my fault they had too much work to do, they had too much to do the day I booked in obviously so I waited 5-6 days so I thought they could concentrate on my car being ready this day.Ok if parts aren't available ok I can understand, but 3 days to get this job , told probably wed morning if I'm lucky when it will be ready.There is a way to liaison with customers, not some but all customers regardless of your day, your life or relationships or whatever.As a interstate truck driver under immense pressure to be on time to and if I ain't I call ahead, maybe I expect too much, but courtesy goes along way in my book, it don't take much to prioritize. And one thing I learnt in life the customer pays for a service that you provide to the best of your ability, so treat them like they're on top of that priority list.I did get a bit agitated by this but I had to calm myself down as I did not know their circumstances of the work or the people working on my car or why they didn't call back, I do not blame them, but I suppose this is a forum for your frustrations and that's all I'm doing.It is my first experience with this company, I read the reviews and felt they were pretty consistent with their service so gave it a try.Just because I had a below par experience I would not say it's the company's fault, I felt a little forgotten about even though I'm going to contribute over $1000 to them for this work and just thought a little more courtesy would go a long way.

Will always take my car here as their work ethic is great, the team is friendly and they'll service your car for a great price.

I rang late morning about getting a misfire looked at on my car. Steve took my call and was very friendly and extremely helpful. He got my car in that afternoon as I told him it could stay as long as they needed it.I delivered the car and was greeted by Dan who again was very friendly and professional. I gave him the run down on my car and left. He took the car in to the shop and within 5 minutes walked up the road to the produce store where I had stopped for some farm gates, he informed me that the inlet manifold gasket had blown and a cost to repair it.I gave him the go ahead as it was a very reasonable quote. Later that afternoon, I recieved a call from Dan to let me know the car was ready. Wow is all I could think.I picked up the car and true to his quote the task had been completed.My car has never run better.Thank you to Steve and Dan and any of the staff at Yarragon Automotive for your unbelievable effort and your outstanding service.I will be spreading the word about your gem of a business.

Dan and the crew are brilliant. I can honestly say, very honest with advice and pricing. Our whole family now use these guys. Can recommend this local business.

100% Amazing! Ive been putting off getting my car serviced for waayy too long, scared of what the bill would be but I'm so happy with everything Yarragon Automotive did! My car broke down just outside of Yarragon, a gentleman (trying to remember his name think it was Tim or Dan) from Yarragon Automotive came out within the hour and had me on my way within 30mins And even though I was expecting to have to pay a hefty mobile call out fee, I was genuinely amazed at how reasonable their pricing is. I would wholeheartedly recommend this mechanic as they are extremely prompt and friendly and extremely well priced. The true meaning of good old fashioned friendly country service, 10/10.
