Neutral Bay Public School :)

The schools great but the cohorts (especially 2022 year 5 and 6) are full of trouble. Not the whole grades but some specific groups of children really mischievous not to mention their attitudes towards people. I believe for future improvement the school should put more effort in the wellbeing, support and behaviour tolerance.

Both of my children were enrolled at the age of 4 and ½ - yes the school did try to discourage early enrolment but I stood my ground as I knew they were ready, and if you live in the catchment area and your child is born before the cut off you have a right to enrol them. Both of my children have done very well - more than keeping up with children in their classes - some of whom are nearly 18 months older than them. I have been very pleased with their teachers every year and the management of the school as a whole has been very professional. The only downside is the over-enrolled after school care - there is an extremely long waiting list and if this is essential to you you are better off looking elsewhere.

The best school, the support they offer is excellent. If I had another child I would send her/he there.

We went to the kindy orientation at Neutral Bay Public School today.The principle and two other kindy teachers were the one presenting and most of their emphasis were, to be sure your kids are ready for school, as most of the kindy kids who join this school are turning 6 and many kids won't be ready and even showed a video about kids not being ready for school and how that would effect their HSC.The principle also stressed that the kids do much better academically when parents help in the class. She wants parents to help once a week or even just once a month. So those kids who both parents work or can't help for whatever reason, is she implying those kids will not do as well and won't get support from teachers nor school because the parents don't help out at school"? The points this principle raised were rather bias and made us uncomfortable.The principle was proud that the school catchment area was getting smaller each year

Great school, great staff, very happy children. The new principal brings a lot of new ideas on board that are very well welcomed by both parents and students. Keep on the good work!

Neutral Bay is a very recommendable school, they have places to go without a hat, and plenty flexibility when it comes to being away. Disabled can access it and it is located close to a tennis place and a park. It is also near a string of shops. I recommend sending your child here!

Such an amazing school- met some life long friends here. Kind teachers and just really amazing. I had so much fun form K-12! This is a really great school!

My kid (year 6) got physically bullied for few months by two of year 6 girls. They slap her face multiple multiple times, punch her face, also chok her neck ( she even hardly breath when they chok her neck). Reported to school but the reply we got is more like it is not schools duty and none of the teacher saw what happened. (For such long time ? ) I can understand that to keep your job you have to do it but as the parent I can also image how mess the school currently managed. We have no other choice, so we have reported to police also writing an email to department of education NSW for this super serious case

Like any other public school, demountables, places to play. Seems kids get looked after well and escorted to activities.

I will highly recommend this school to any one who wants to send their children to this school.
