Lumberjack Camper Trailers

This might sound like a weird review, but we did not actually buy the product we looked at. However the staff bent over backwards to help us make an informed decision. We caught up with the team at Leisurefest at Sandown and dealt with the delightful Claudia and the informed Kelvin. They were brilliant. We looked at a SheOak Camper Trailer ... cracker of a product and I suspect we will regret our decision not to purchase but if the customer service we experienced is a reflection of where this company is at, they have a bright future. Bought a Lumberjack Buckley Ultralight camper trailer from SA Caravan Hub on South Rd in Adelaide. Great camper - built well, tows great, easy to set up and pack up and has everything we need. Have taken it out a few times now with the family and no issues at all. The guys at SA Caravan Hub did us a great deal too.

Love our Mt Baw Baw Lumberjack Hybrid caravan. We have a series 2. Staff have been helpful when answering questions. Very professional service.

Very happy with our purchase of the Johanna Camper Trailer. Took it out for it’s maiden voyage and happy to say we are very pleased. Needed a minor repair done and the service we got from the maintenance team in Geelong was excellent. Thank you!

Tim has been great to deal. Very thorough hand over and has dealt with all my messages and issues promptly. A couple of things need to go through warranty that my husband is dealing with and the service is great so far. Loving our Johanna

Lumberjack Sheoak Offroad, not fit for purpose.2 days into Oodnadatta track and chassis completely failed, first trip in camper not even 6 months old. Is being repaired however this is taking a while.Update and response to reply;Thank you for your predictable reply, Yes, to your credit the trailer was repaired, which is simply the upholding of your warranty conditions? as for misuse? as a 30 year mechanical engineer and a military trained driver in all manner of vehicles and conditions I can assure you all my vehicles and equipment are maintained and prepared with the utmost precision. To throw in the comment about tyre pressures is laughable. We were actually recovered back to Oodnadatta roadhouse on a standard car trailer?? At the end of the day we were left stranded by a brand new (advertised) off road camper with a special needs child in tow and to date 4k out off pocket in expenses. So I believe the buying public need to do there homework and decide if this product is fit for purpose. We still love the package of the Sheoak and will probably persevere with a different suspension (AL-KO or Cruisemaster?) Cheers

I have had my Buckley for a year now. The purchase experience was wonderful and the few small warranty issues I had were fixed with a smile. I highly recommend Lumberjack.

We ordered a Sorrento which seemed to tick all our boxes after searching for a long time. After having problems with getting the details of our purchase confirmed on email and changing circumstances we decided to cancel our order after a few days after we payed our deposit. As per the contract we asked for our refund back, but never ever ever got a response from them ever again. they ignored all phone calls and emails. They also told us they would manufacture in Australia, but the company is just an import company doing very little to nothing on the items they import. We heard of other customers also working with accc to get their money back.

We bought an Allendale and have had a similar post sales customer service experience as has been posted here by others.The sales team really are your best mates when they want your signature on the contract. Once you've taken delivery of the trailer and driven away, you're pretty much on your own.Our first problem was no fridge on delivery, despite us paying for everything in full, prior to handover. We were happy to be cut a little slack and wait a few weeks (we understand they may experience some logistical problems from time to time). But we had to wait many weeks for the fridge to finally arrive and had to chase customer service only to be given the helpful" suggestion that we could hire one whilst we wait (at our own expense!!).Issue no. 2 was when we wanted to book in for the 1000kms (courtesy) inspection service we were promised at purchase. Only to be told their policy had since changed. Is that even legal?Third issue. Towel rail on the sink was broken at handover and promised to be replaced. Never has.We've also had warranty issues and each time they are for components apparently not under warranty - essentially two issues
