Was quite excited to taste the food and soak in the view of the sea from equinox. Although the location is great, that’s where the comparisons to greatness end. The interior is a little basic and uninspiring and unfortunately the food matched that in taste and appearance.We tried the fish burger and seafood pasta and a medley of fried ‘seafood stuff’ that looked like it was as far from something that came from the ocean that you can imagine.Everything seems to have come from the depths of the freezer rather than the ocean and every bite was just relentlessly bland and tasteless. On the plus side, the wine was nice and priced well and helped mask the deep-fried-ness of everything else. Overall the lunch was a let down and it’s a shame as with the location and better food, it could have been a lunch to remember rather than one you want to forget as soon as possible.

We arrived to nice hullo, looked over the menu, not bad, wanted fish and chips, my arm was twisted for grilled barramundi, nice but bland. Chicken wings and bread very nice. Dessert finished the meal. Sticky date pudding. Definitely worth a visit

This Restaurant has so much potential! Service was a bit of a circus... Had to ask for a menu long after we were seated. Saw a couple waiting to be seated for ages before they were even noticed, followed by the same customer becoming disgruntled as had to wave someone down to take their order a very long time later! The Restaurant was not even busy! Our adults meals came out before our kids meals and the same happened with the desserts - except when they finally delivered our kids desserts we had a double up of adults desserts. What the heck is going on here! Management needs to do an overhaul on who's running this place, we would not return and this is disappointing for the owners.We found the food average.Best of luck.

Went here on Monday! Waited 15mins for a bottle of wine but besides that food was beautiful! What I can’t understand is you have a lovely restaurant on the ocean and those awful reeds have been planted under the fig trees obstructing a lot of the ocean view!!!! Why???? TI did ask and was told to stop kids playing in there? Surely there would be a better solution!!!!

We were here mid afternoon with about 20% tables filled on a Sunday. We really enjoyed our food, in particular the seafood pasta and Miso pork belly. I also found my oat milk flat white to be very enjoyable. Staff were friendly and prompt though I agree with others about the speed of the service. Didn't really bother us since we weren't in any hurry. I would also mention at just over 200$ for our 5 mains and a starter, the food satisfaction vs price here is much higher than some more highly rated restaurants we've been to in the area. Given the views and cool shelter away from the heat, good food and service, I don't see why they would have a sub 4 rating.

It has a great position to dine in comfort and view the bay to watch the sunset or a storm roll in .Although to staff were lovely and helpful offering good service, I found they possibly lacked a bit of knowledge of the meals. However, they were honest and would seek info from other staffs.The meals were nice but probably would expect a little more considering the prices, although that's a sign of the times.The restaurant was clean and well presented and it had a great friendly atmosphere.
