The Windsor Castle Hotel
We stayed here for Rod Stewart concert at Roche Estate. The room was good and modern. Only issue was the power went out and this bright light came on in the room and woke us up and it stayed on until power returned. That was annoying but in an emergency you would want that light. Check in took longer than normal as you check in at the bar. There were a couple of marks on bed cover. The cleaning staff are lovely they all greet you when they see you. Was good value modern and clean. What more could you want. We didn’t have time to check out the food but have eaten here years ago and it was good. If you can’t do stairs make sure you book a room on the ground floor.

I didn't stay at this venue, however, I did have dinner. New York steak, mushroom sauce, salad and chips.; steak medium. OMG the meal was amazing. Steak cooked perfectly, salad fresh and tasty, chips were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I went on a Wednesday night, members draw. If you don't like crowds, don't go. I thought I would have to wait for ages to get my meal, not the case at all. Would I go back? Hell yeah.

Great lunch time specials through the week & weekend meals priced well. Great food, great serving sizes. Relaxed atmosphere, love having catch up lunches there.

We only went for a feed chicken & rib night. Was a bit weird one sauce on chicken & another on ribs,next time I will order sauce on the side. A really nice meal other than that. They were also very conscious of gluten-free (medical) so that was great. Yes I will return.

My second stay at the Windsor and always been a pleasure. Very good location to trains and bus stations. Walking distance from the shopping centres and sights. Rooms are very private, comfy and just about great!

The Windsor Castle Hotel
Didn't stay at the hotel, just went for a meal.The venue is nice, clean and spacious.It was not a busy night when we were there.The menu prices are competitive too.However, the menu said thick cut steakhouse chips and we all got something more like shoestring chips, and very dry.The lasagne was delicious but the steak was served medium- medium well when it was supposed to be rare.The sauces were good as was the cheesy bacon garlic bread.Drinks were well priced.The staff were very friendly and courteous.All in all, were gonna give them another shot some time soon.Give it a visit yourself and see what you think.

The food was great as always, my hubby and myself got garlic bread, chicken wings and the beef burger. As someone who has worked cooking burgers for too many years, the burgers were amazing, and the beef itself was very moist and very filling. Lovely bar staff and the lady taking the food orders was very lovely.

The Windsor Castle Hotel
We use to love going to the hotel but three times we have been recently it was too crowded. Today we went and my Chicken pizza was just beautiful but my husbands meal was just warm. He had fish salad and chips while we are not big eaters, we noticed that the meals on special are a lot smaller My husband didn’t enjoy his meal so guess we won’t be back. We drive 49 minutes for lunch
