When the bushfires hit our area, Ned and Brett had many people donating to them, to create vouchers for those that had lost their belongings/homes. I personally lost mine, and was presented with one of these vouchers. I was somewhat lost while trying to identify things I needed so I ended up going quite over the voucher limit - both Ned and Brett wiped the remaining cost from the sale, only taking the voucher but giving me all I’d selected. They are the epitome of community.They’re always friendly and helpful in there and up for a good chat.Best surf gear around, and best clothing you’ll find around here too.

AWKWARD!!!! I'll try to make it short. I had a $100 dollar voucher which I had used $35 of, I tried to use all before I went away, before the expiry. Couldn't find anything I wanted feeling pressured, The lady said don't stress we'll honor it a few months past date come back when not so pressured .. SO I went back to use the rest of my voucher, another chick said I couldn't use it, I explained what the lady said, I said should I come back to see the other lady, she said what for??, I felt awkward and said don't worry and started to walk out, she said no hang on and the big blonde guy came up, she showed him the voucher ... All of a sudden he starts lecturing me on how people come in and demand out of date vouchers, how people want to use them out of season from when the voucher is bought and in a different financial year, how he's trying to run a business etc,,,, I said mate I'm actually not those people and I didn't actually come here to argue or be abused this morning, I simply asked a question of can I still use the voucher! If you won't honor it that's fine!! I understand I'm not going to stand here and be yelled at and I started to walk out. He then called me back and said he'll honor it, I just wanted a wallet so with no help of either of them I grabbed a wallet from the case (which I wasn't sure if I was allowed) but they weren't helping at all because All the while the guy was abusing the poor lady in front of everyone in the shop, trying to yell in a whisper clearly everyone could hear, accusing her of something claiming he's trying to run a business?? and she did this that and the other , then apologising to her, then start abusing her again then saying nah alright I'm sorry, then saying nah you did this and started back at her ... It was weird he was off he's head .. I got the wallet, paid the $10 extra (not game enough to say I still had $15 on my account left over from the change of the voucher I'd spent) they can keep that!!! That would have been to much for him I'm sure,, and I'll advise my family not to get the $200 vouchers they usually get us every year! That is $200 for 5 people usually,, We'll take our money elsewhere!! I don't think he should have a business. And one question, if someone got a voucher in June and spent it in July,, that's a different financial year I'd hate to be that poor person dealing with him then if it's such a hassle,,, it's all apart of running a business isn't it? ....

Ned was so helpful sourcing my new wetsuit and ordering it in to their Narooma Store. By far the best customer service I've received in a long time! Thanks Ned!
