326 south beach apartments.Unit 5 is a small cosy number, even if a little dated. You will be very happy with its adequate appointments including a cute outdoor sitting area perfect for street watching and alfresco meals.It is located with walking distance of all the cafes south terrace has to offer and also South Beach. We stayed for 2 nights and only left due to inadequate internet services.Whilst the property manager advertises the unit/s as having internet, in reality unit 5 relies on being able to use the internet from the unit above. We were unable to run our business, send emails, use streaming platforms or open webpages. A telstra ping test taken in the apartment revealed download range speeds of 3mbps & 12mbps and 0.4 upload speed with mobile phone 4g ping test revealing speeds of 1.9mbps download and 0.3 upload. This was after the manager had called iiNet to upgrade the service at our request. Though we did communicate our need for fast internet when booking it seems that this was not adequately understood by the manager Mary Callan. Mary kindly refunded us the remaining nights we couldn’t stay due to this hiccup as she said she has always refunded guests during covid. She was apologetic for the upset.We were sad to leave this cute little spot in South Freo. When booking these units be sure to ask for a unit with its own modem and request a ping test if basic internet is important to you.

Great stay at these apartments. There are some long term residents in this block as well as the short term accommodation which gives this place a bit of character. It doesn't look like much from the street but inside was a very comfortable little space.The staff were amazing! I had an issue where I couldn't figure out how to work the oven and when I called to ask about it the staff offered to come in person and figure it out (in the end I sorted it myself - you have to put the timer on or it won't work, but I appreciate the quick offer of assistance.) For a self contained apartment it contained your usual assortment of odds and ends in the kitchen - I did take a trip to the local op shop to get a better frying pan - but in my apartment there were electric heaters and things for baking so pretty happy.I did have a little battle with ants but they didn't bother me enough to detract from my visit or my 5 star rating.
