We had a wonderful tasting at Bittern Estate, there was a great variety of wines and Gary was very friendly and knowledgeable. We got to taste some wines we’ve not had before and will be back for more. Would definitely recommend!

Cellar door wine tasting was a charming experience in a lovely setting on the Mornington Peninsula. Gary is highly knowledgeable and creates a relaxed, informative experience. We left with 6+1 bottles of red & white varieties, including surprise favourite, Gewurztraminer, which wasn’t too sweet (I’m not a Riesling or Moscato drinker) and at $20 represents great value. This cellar door opened during the Victorian bushfires of early 2019. Happy to support local business this festive season, whilst introducing interstate relatives to the Peninsula’s hidden gems.

We stopped in here because we'd seen it driving past, and all agreed it was the best wine tasting we'd been to. Gary was incredibly friendly and chatty, with a wide selection of wines made from grapes grown on the property.

Phenomenal wines and a beautiful range of wines with attention to quality. We had a fantastic selection on tasting and really enjoyed every aspect of Gary's conversion. Surprisingly we walked away carrying out the best selection of amazing wines. Definitely going book in here again.

Randomly found this winery on Google maps and stopped in. If you arrive and it is unattended, call Garry per the sign and he will come to the cellar door. He is very hospitable and provides great stories about the origins of the grapes. The wine is also delicious.Well worth the stop!

Had the most wonderful experience here! The selection of wines impressive, and include the biggest reds I've come across on the peninsula, a delicious surprise! The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, and the views are beautiful. Garry is very entertaining, sharing stories and educated us with his vast knowledge, including the term fractionation (I hope I got that right!)

Delicious wines from grapes grown onsite. The owner Garry is extremely knowledgeable and entertaining and takes you on a journey behind the scenes of their winemaking philosophy. The experience is genuine and friendly without the corporate marketing charade that other wineries on the peninsula seem wedded to.

Our group of 5 stopped in for a tasting with Gary on our way to a weekend in Mornington. Such a wonderful experience, great chats, and really impressed with the wine... Certainly took a few bottles with us! Highly recommend.
