Yering Station Winery

I have been here twice but my recent visit was a bit disappointed. I have ordered medium rare for my steak and ended up more like medium, sorry I didn't take any pictures and the lava cake is another disappointment. The molten lava is overcooked as u can see in the picture. All the good chef on annual leave maybe?

Delicious food, excellent quality and quantity. Good selection of wines. Four stars not five stars due to service (the staff were run off their feet); and there are better or just as good restaurants that are not as pricey.

Excellent service and food! The waitress are very friendly and helpful. I booked the table online, they reserved a table with awesome window view for us! All the starters and mains are outstanding (looks pretty & taste good), the potions are bigger than i expected. It’s make sense to have 15% surcharge during the public holiday. I would recommend this place to my friends.

Yering Station’s restaurant is a wonderful, architect-designed glass and steel space, the size of a small warehouse.It’s well-designed to take in the view of the farmland, and the food and service more than matches the wonderful setting.There’s plenty of parking right out front, a lovely short walk through landscaped gardens up to the entrance, and a small, but great value menu of 2 or 3 courses of excellent food.Lovely food, great service, nice wine – the perfect weekend lunch, and just an hour outside the city.

We recently had our wedding at Yering Station and the team were absolutely amazing! From the event coordinators to the team on the night - everybody was so kind and professional.The food and service was incredible - we have recieved so much positive feedback from our guests! The grounds are also so beautiful! Highly recommend!

Food was exceptional, really tasty, enjoyed every dish. Service - can be improved… staff weren’t highly efficient to cope with the busy lunch hour.

Great food and Service. The waitress went to bring colouring pencils for my 4 year old daughter which was much appreciated.The quail wasn't gamey but the sauce was. Cheese platter could feed 4 I reckon.The steak eye was amazing! Very well cooked with so much flavour! I was also impressed with the Dory. It had so much texture and bite compared to what I find in my country. The rabbit felt like tuna to me though but still good.

Great place to spend a relaxing weekend. It's conveniently located along the Yarra Valley. Just be sure to make a reservation if you want to eat in the restaurant.
