Bills Pet Paradise Bathurst

Place is dirty and not much in it! The marine tank is a disgrace full of algae the owner had not have any new fish in ages. He informed me last time that he is shutting down the only tank he’s got. It’s a petty as no other pet shop in the area supplies Marine fish or accessories at all!

Do not buy pets from here, especially the birds. I honestly cannot support this business. I once bought a cockatiel from here and it died within 3 days (I’m an experienced bird owner this was not my first bird, it should not have died). I walked in there today and almost all of the Gouldian finches were bald and looking sickly. I was told that they’re moulting (that’s not what moulting generally looks like) and then told that they came from an overcrowded aviary. A fair few of the cockatiels had bald spots on the back of their necks and one had a drooping wing, I’m assuming that these poor things came for an overcrowded aviary as well. You are either ignorant or just don’t care. You should know better then to buy from irresponsible breeders. Look into finding better breeders these animals deserve so much more

Very small range. Poor animals in tiny cages that had cracked glass, animals don’t look to be advertised as the correct breed. Bird area smelt terrible. The guy working there was so rude as well. Did not greet or speak to anyone else because he was busy loudly arguing with another customer. Definitely will not shop here ever.

The owners of this business used to have an adorable cat called Fuzz who was so friendly, (and also rather huge). Sadly Fuzz died after being struck by a car. Fuzz was given an obituary in the local Bathurst newspaper.

Good local business, lady that works there is friendly, the guy doesn't seem very approachable to me though. Had everything I needed for my pet. Would recommend going here over the chain stores in town.

Would never go back to these money hungry oxygen thieves. Brought a little mini dashound he had scabs all over his body under his neck and all over his nose. When I called them about it they tried to say it was the news paper in the cage. Payed $2500 for a dog that was already 4 months old . Evan the vets told me that they shouldn’t have sold him in the state he was in. These people deserve no stars. They deserve to be shut down.

Puppies on display at ridiculous prices, obviously supporting backyard breeders. This poor little pup looked so miserable and cold. They should be following petbarns lead and only having rescue pets available.

Walked in randomly thinking to support a local business and purchase supplies for my cat. Was absolutely horrified that they had puppy mill puppies for sale. Will never, ever spend money here!
