Wallarah Point Care Community

Due to his ailing health we had to put my dad into care in February 2021. Wallarah Point is a beautiful place which is a real Home. All of The staff and in particular Arlie the General Manager are the most caring, loving, understanding people we have ever met. My dad was not easy and did not want to be there but they cared for him and persevered never giving up on making him feel like he could be happy there. Sadly he passed away last week but again they were supportive and respectful of whatever we needed. My mum and our family can not thank you enough for what you did for us. I cannot recommend Wallarah highly enough if this is the next phase of care for you or your loved ones.

A great place to have worked and emersed myself. Beautiful caring care team, hard working leadership team and the residents are priority one. Will always appreciate my time here.

The staff are very professional and caring. The facilities are very modern and kept in a clean and tidy condition. Margaret, who we visit, always give good remarks about the food, the staff and the facilities are great.

This place is like a five star hotel, the staff are caring and friendly. They have set the bar for nursing homes. The residents safety and health are there number one priorityThank you for looking after my mother.

I just finished my AIN placement from Wallarah Point Care community. The GM, CM and all the staff are very supportive and friendly. It was great experience working here. It is a beautiful place and looks like a five star hotel.

I am a first year nursing student and just completed placement at Wallarah Point Care. All the staff were welcoming and willing to teach and share their personal experience and advice with us students. The facility feels like a home and the team does everything they can to make the residents time there a positive and caring experience.

My sister had to go into into a nursing home because she needed alot of care. I was fortunate enough to be able to get her into Wallarah Point Nursing Home at Toukley.I have given Wallarah Point a 5 Star rating because they deserve it the care my sister receives is no other way to describe it as brilliant they can not do enough for their residents its run beautifully the care,food,activities the list goes on.The Care Manger that runs the home is professional, caring and is always there with her wonderful staff and team members who make Wallarah Point a wonderful place for residents to to live.Since my sisters arrival there her quality of life has come a long way in such a short time and I thank them all for the wonderful care.And I must say when you visit your love onesyou are always welcome into a family atmosphere. Beautiful place and wonderful carers.They deserve more than 5stars

Went to visit my sister in law. It us a b eautiful facility but lacking staff, the ones they have are great but run off their feet. The person in charge is not so good.

I have to say that this nursing home has to be the leader and a good example for others to follow. My twin brother Peter who needed a better caring than his own. I visited him back in January 22 during the covid time and I was amazed how switched on the team was, that all visitors had to be tested with rapid test, a great plan to protect everyone and it was no big deal to have the test. We all need to be safe.The staff were very friendly and well rehearsed in procedures making visitors feel welcome.The parking is not huge, and for those who complained about the spaces, I came up from Tasmania and just picked my time as suggested by my sister, and never had a problem, always found a space.In conclusion I would like to congratulate this nursing home on a job well done, and I feel that my brother is been looked after faf far better than he did himself.Keep up the good work guys and for setting this amazing standard, you are legends.Best regards Paul

The clinical manager Sunita is such a bully to the staffs. She will lie and tell you that you are arguing with her if you are having a decent conversation. Please be aware of her behaviour before joining to work with her.
