I come to Kalgoorlie for Christmas and went into Woolies on Christmas Eve. I'm from a country town, but I was gob smacked at the size of the shop. It's big and well stocked. The store is so big, each side needed a post-code all of their own, like the big wide streets. Everyone was pleasant. I wouldn't say no to living in Kalgoorlie.

The Aborginial woman who works the checkout at Woolworths is honestly so rude and disrespectful. Her customer service skills are awful as I had gone through her checkout recently, had not said a peep to her just standing in line waiting patiently for her to scan my groceries and she literally doesn’t greet me, YELLS at me to stand back in an abrupt tone and to let the woman in front of me scan her Woolworth’s card which I wasn’t even standing directly in the way of. Honestly there is no need to be nasty especially when a customer hasn’t said or done anything wrong. Multiple people I know have gone through her checkout and they haven’t had the most pleasant experience as her attitude needs 100% work! She needs to be held accountable, she works in customer service and her skills are not up to scratch. No need to be rude for no reason!
