Absolutely incredible experience having my curls looked after by Neel Loves Curls! Really appreciated how thorough Neel was and how he walked me through everything about my curls. From the moment I sat down, I knew my hair couldn’t be better looked after and I left feeling confident about caring for my hair - would highly recommend!

Went for the first time and was greeted by friendly staff. The team are highly knowledgeable - they shared useful tips and advice on how to take care of my hair. I left with clean, hydrated curls, and the confidence to maintain my hair until my next appointment. Thanks Neel & Jason! :)

I just found this amazing hairdresser in Fitzroy Melbourne. Catering for anyone who has curls. Wow I am so happy with the results. Dizzy and Neel were fabulous guys who know what their are doing.The Gel product was fabulous. Leaving your hair soft and not hard but controlled the curls. I have now found my favorite place.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews but unfortunately I feel it is necessary in this instance.I had my haircut at neel loves curls recently after growing my hair for 4 years after losing it from chemo. I am very attached to my hair due to losing it and I made this clear at my appointment. I told the stylist I didn’t want to loose any length (my hair was down to my belly button) and ended up leaving with hair up to my chest. I did notice in my appointment how short it was looking but I have anxiety and felt uncomfortable mentioning anything and it was too far gone. But I did not realise how bad the cut in general was until I got home, I have chunks of hair cut out, nothing looks blended, all my hair now looks so incredibly thin, damaged and short, the top layer is so heavy it looks like I have a bob with a rats tail underneath. I have never had such a bad haircut before. I have worn my hair up since leaving the salon and will have to continue to do so until it grows back as it is unmanageable now.I personally won’t be recommending this salon to anyone and will definitely not be returning.

I've been getting my hair cut here for years and I am always so happy. I've explored various lengths under their care. Currently I am keeping my hair long and I love going to Neel because I completely trust him to only cut what is necessary to keep it healthy and looking lovely. Everyone at at this salon is great! They teach you how to properly care for your curly hair between appointments. Thank you Neel for my lovely self-care day!

My last hair cut was well over 4 years ago as I got sick of always a wet cut or a straightened cut, with it being my first time seeing Neel I just want to thank you so much for the transformation on my unkempt mane! I DEFINITELY will be back :) Not only was he knowledgeable and efficient, but he was such a ball to be around! Especially with me being so nervous about actually taking the step in trying to control my hair. Hydration hydration hydration! Again, you won't regret the visit if you have the curls!

My hair journey growing up was not maintained. My parents didn’t know how to properly style my hair so I barely got any haircuts or treatments done.When I came to this salon a few days ago I was welcomed by one of the stylists there. I soon began my one-on-one session with Neel and that’s when the magic happened! He shared to me the proper ingredients and techniques I should be doing on my hair and how I should treat it. After the session he gave me a little handout as an after-care treatment. Nonetheless, I am super grateful to come to his salon. Him and his team are brilliant and they really know what they’re doing. They all have a passion for what they do and it shows with how he treats his clients.Thank you Neel!

The staff are a wealth of knowledge; they custom everything to your specific hair and talk you through every step so you can leave feeling confident you can care for your curls in the best way. A warm and beautiful energy makes visiting Neel loves Curls such a positive experience. Would 10/10 recommend!!

Was such a pleasure to meet Neel, he definitely exceeds expectations! His passion and knowledge of curly hair is second to none and the visiting the salon is an experience like no other! I have been going to Neel since 2014. No one is allowed to cut my hair but Neel and his posse. Not only does he understand curls and where what curl falls and what cut would look best on you, he will tell you straight up what you need to do to get the outcome you are after. He doesn’t judge, he genuinely loves helping curly haired folks embrace their curls and make them look and feel like a million bucks. The products he has has helped me give shape and style to my curly chaos. You’re the best Neel :)
