i came here and didn't pay for the guided tour paper. i could of saved my shock absorbers and fillings. i could of had a better car for the job as my 2WD was not suitable, the road needs grading to make it more tourist friendly. i would only recommend coming with 4WD.

These tours are very well put together, but honestly not much was happening on our circuit. Many attractions were closed (despite information telling us otherwise). Probably more popular and busy during the cooler months.

Did the self guided tour start of May 2021, unfortunately some how missed the iron church and didn't do old chums track ( walk ) for us not enough time arrived around 3pm to do the door tour.Drove around in a Kia carnival with no problem at all but next day had rained and there was no way.Take your time to explore as much as you can. We did get our a walk to explore other things and get the feel of the out back.
