A great place to take your kayak out on the water for a paddle, as well as fishing from the banks and in your yak. Love it on a sunny winters days its beautiful

Been here 4 times. Used corn, worms, soft plastics, hard lures. Not 1 single fish. Don't waste your money on a permit unless you only want to kayak.

You can take your non motorised boat/kyak if you want to fish you'll need a permit, there is car park access and Toilets on site at one of the entrancesThere is access off the main highway.

Good spot to go fishing or kayaking or just to enjoy nature.Hoping to see more toilets available in the future as the only ones available were out of order a couple of times when we have been.Can't complain too much though, great to have some fresh water fishing available in the North.Unfortunately have seen quite a few people abusing the privilege climbing over fences, swimming, using yabby nets or just finding rubbish and bottles, many times including broken glass that had been left for the next person to pick up and I have only been 3 times so this is happening a lot. Sad to see as if these areas aren't looked after I can see us not only not getting access to more places like this in the future, but having the ones we do have access to taken away.
