It’s a great place to go panning. I got at least 3 flecks of gold in pretty much every pan! I would highly recommend visiting!

Nice place for a visit to try your luck at gold panning. We found a few small pieces in almost every pan, and the kids had a lot of fun. The roads are a bit rough in places but if you park before the creek crossing it's an easy walk down to the Fossicking area. Note you'll have to bring your own equipment as there isn't a business or tours here.

Still small amounts of gold to be found, beautiful yet heavily worked area, no camping signs everywhere. Camping only available in town.

Great area for metal detecting and fossciking. The creek can become a bit crowded in popular times but there are many other places to go.

We were given a lesson and assisted to pan for gold by Jobs, Sara and Henry, local experts. We all found some flecks of gold and could see how quickly it would become addictive.Panning for gold was so much fun. Thank you.
