The Woodcutters
The Woodcutters sculpture pays tribute to the contribution of the timber industry to the region of Mathoura. It depicts how the timber industry has changed over time. 2 men are pulling at their cross-cut saw another man has a axe and another man is the chainsaw wielding man.It's one of a few sculptures which are situated along the Long Paddock touring route with others located in Moama, Deniliquin, Pretty Pine, The Black Swamp, Hay and Ivanhoe.
