BIG4 Cape Jervis Accommodation & Caravan Park

Great view to Kangaroo Island. Beautiful sunset. About 5kms to closest beach. Dog friendly. Great rustic Camp Kitchen with everything you need. Staff very helpful when we needed to stay extra days at a busy time. Thank you

Basic but decent campsite. Toilets and showers were clean. Unfortunately the bar and restaurant are closed at the moment, not sure if that’s a permanent thing. Unpowered sites are not allocated so we spent some time picking a nice spot which had some shelter from the wind. We walked to the ferry which took around 40 mins. Overall a good place to stay when visiting Kangaroo Island.

Great peaceful place to stay, had everything we needed and more! We took our retire greyhound who enjoyed himself as well walking along the beach only a short drive away.Wonderful to have so much quiet!That you for our time at your property.

We stayed here on our return from Kangaroo Island. Convenient for our needs. Amenities aged though very clean and well stocked. Traffic noise for Kangaroo Island started early which disturbed us but got us up early to travel at the same time so mixed views about it.

This is not what I would expect from a Big4 park. Our powered camp site was in the middle of a paddock with sheep feces and wheat stubble. The water from the taps was brown. Toilet and shower facilities were inadequate for the amount of people staying - had to have a cold shower. I'm puzzled by all the good reviews. I recommend people take their money elsewhere!

Hello owner, stayed in one of the homesteads, nice bathroom, comfy bed and cosy room. Visiting the emus, horse and sheep was pretty cool. The kettle had something in it which looked like egg shells and hair in the filter so had to microwave the water. A family member was also staying in the park and had to come and use our shower everyday as the toilet block showers had no hot water. The camp kitchen is a tiny shed with 1 sink and 1 bbq.. Really need more than 1 of each. The sliding door into the homestead didn't close fully and was extremely hard to open and close. Nearly broke my ankle walking down homestead pavement steps, when one pavement lifted up.Other than this our stay was quite nice.Thanks :)

Very windy and loud because of the birds. We have been traveling Australia for about half a year now and these amenities were easily the worst, both in cleanliness and general state. Expected way more since it was a BIG4.

What a pleasant suprise on our way to Kangroo Island. Super friendly and helpful staff. Found this place extremely quite, clean and comfortable, so had a really good night sleep. Thank you BIG4 Cape Jarvis, you set an awesome example for others. Look forward to staying again.

Friendly staff and place feels a bit dated but convenient for getting the morning ferry to KI. Note that the free WiFi is only available if you go to the seating area near reception, which was very surprising, and the tap water is not drinkable. However, selling microwave meals from the freezer is an excellent idea and helped us have a cheap tasty meal after a long day travelling.

Not sure how this place is a Big 4, even a classic one. It feels like an old working farm that someone decided to rent paddock space out on.The kitchen is a metal shed with an old bbq and tiny sink that looks like it'll be an oven in summer. Showers were cold.For unpowered sites there is no wind protection and the cockatoos make sure you're up at the crack of dawn. So bring earplugs.Office was already closed at 7.30pm, and there are these weird passive aggressive notes everywhere on how keeping the place clean is the guests responsibility, not thiers.For the high price you only get good proximity to the ferry and nice sunset view.I get that this place is supposed to be back to basics" but I think people see "Big 4" and have a certain expectation. Either up your game or remove the Big 4 accreditation."
