KC Dry Cleaning Mitchelton

Have used this dry cleaner for decades. They don't do a lot of fry cleaning on site these days but they are accurate with the timings for when your items will be back. Only downside was trying to get a suaude jacket dry cleaned, it is going to take 4-6 weeks, whilst not within their control it is too long a period to wait. Other than that they are a convenient, cheap, can do clothes, quilts, etc.

Went into shop to collect our dry cleaning to be told it’s is not there and she does not know where it is and when it will be available either!What is the point of having this lady at the counter who made me feel very uncomfortable and that if they still have our clothing even though they have had these for two weeks now!Can someone get back to me she said she could not tell me and does not know when they will be ready or if they have cleaned them either? Very poor service not going there again and they should have some one at the front desk that is happy and very responsive? If she does. Not know she should find out you would think and call me ASAP today! That so how you keep your clients !!

These guys are an efficient, and friendly team that was able to have a quick turnaround for my order. They proved themselves with a diverse range of knowledge when it comes to the dry cleaning of business attire, service/ceremonial attire (for those in the ADF/civil services), and neat civilian attire. They’re looking to bring in a pick up and delivery service which is, in my opinion, awesome!One recommendation I’d suggest is a same day option for customers, typically offered in other dry cleaning services across the country, at a proportional price for those people who have sudden or unforeseen events come up.Otherwise, I full recommend getting your dry cleaning done here! I’ll definitely be doing mine here in the future.

Great job and affordable price. We had 2 x curtains which were too long and we needed them shortened and hemmed. End result better than expected and quick turn-around time.

My wife took some clothes for dry cleaning and alteration. The lady serving advised that she couldn't take the alterations because she was closing soon. Despite there being an hour before the advertised closing time. Unbelievable that a business would say that to a paying customer.

Put four 1.3 x 2.2m curtain drops in for a wash and iron at their Mitchelton (Brisbane) store.Curtains were rubber backed.We were quoted 2 weeks for the works to be done.I made the mistake of paying $300 in advance.After 2 weeks we visited their store twice and phoned them four times seeking answers as to when we were going to receive the curtains. On one instance we were told the curtains were at their main place at Fortitude Valley. Tried phoning Fort Valley place - front desk apparently couldn't put us through to back of house management to get answers.After over five weeks Mitchelton store advised they would be back in tomorrow and we'll call you as soon as they are in. No phone call the next day. The afternoon after that I phoned them again to be told they had been in about 24 hours. I arrived at the store ten minutes later to be told there has been a problem and the curtains are a little damaged, and as a compensation we will give you a $100 in store credit, which I was stupid enough to accept. There was also a bit of a flyer/letter describing how these things happen.I got home and on opening the package found these clowns had ironed the curtains by folding them in half so the rubber backs were facing each other. The heat of ironing had vulcanised the backs to each other meaning to open the curtains up to re-hang them the backing tore off the fabric leaving light holes up to 30mm across. The curtains are ruined.To add insult to injury, they aren't even ironed flat and are covered in creases.Why on earth didn't these claimed 'experts' inspect the curtains on receipt in the first instance or at any time in the process and decide they could not do the job in a satisfactory manner? I'm available on my phone 24x7 and did not receive any call to advise.So, in summary, I have paid $200 for these incompetents to ruin my curtains and have also had to pay another $200 (at a VERY discounted price from $800) to replace my curtains with something respectable.Of course, I have a $100 in store credit at a business I will be loathe to trust with our garments or soft furnishings again.

I dropped off 6 formal shirts 4 weeks ago and I still have not been able to collect them. There is a different excuse every time I go there to pick them up. Terrible.

Absolutely dreadful experience. They ended up providing no service, just frustration. We left sofa covers with them, they demanded full payment in advance, then failed to meet their own 3 week return date, eventually advising our goods were ready for pickup after waiting more than 6 weeks, but the covers had not been cleaned!!! We did get our payment refunded.Avoid this business and drive to Stuart Road Ashgrove, where you will find an excellent dry cleaning service.

Went to drop off 2x suits to be dry cleaned and was told standard turn around time is 48 hours however this couldn’t be guaranteed as they had a back log of items waiting from early March - so they couldn’t give me an idea of when to pick up my items as it could take anywhere from 48hours to a few weeks!

MILITARY DO NOT GO HEREHad my poly shirt and pants done at this shop and they have some how managed to put train tracks in the sleeves of my short sleeve poly shirt.Reply back from the shop says they haven't had a customer by my name at the shop, I have checked the receipt and my first name was spelt Mitghell. This is why they haven't found my record.
