Mary Street Bakery
This is very disappointed experience for our first time.We had our nice brunch with our friend who had been going here several times. Waitresses were lovely but then my friend who's been there several times bought a loaf of sourdough & had it sliced everytime she went there. She asked a staff behind the counter to slice it but she didn't know who to ask. Another staff came & told my friend that they didn't slice breads. He told my friend that they've got 1000 issues or problems themselves in the kitchen & they didn't do the slicing. Every bakery i go to always got bread slicer. And the last thing you want to tell the costumer that you've got 1000 issues in your own kitchen by telling the costumer that they don't have time to slice their own homemade bread. WHAT A BAD SERVICE !!! I won't go there anymore & i won't recommend all my friends to go & eat there.

To be honest I was extremely disappointed with this particular Mary St Bakery, comparing this with the other branches, this is probably the worst of the lot. The service was not too great as the staff appeared to me to care more about themselves. The selection was quite poor already and the staff made it worse by packing up all the sweets. (I kid you not) and packing home quite a lot for themselves. I noticed heaps of lost sales as people came in disappointed by a lack of sweet stuff.

The shop is located in the Empire Village on the side that faces Beecroft Park. We got a table outside and had a look through the menu. The food items looked quite interesting. They also had cabinet food inside by the counter.I tried the smoked pork belly with a malted milkshake. I quite liked the milkshake. The pork belly was also quite nice with crackling and well cooked and seasoned beans. We also grabbed some donuts from the cabinet for takeaway and they were quite nice, particularly the pistachio one.I quite liked the cafe and the proximity to the park was nice if you were wanting to have a walk before or after the meal.

Relax and treat your taste buds at this Mary Street Bakery. Take away or sit down for a dine in service. While you feel like you should dress up a bit, it's actually a very relaxing atmosphere.I've been here a few times and haven't been disappointed yet. Their cakes and pastries are definitely worth the stop. I can recommend the almond croissant and the Chocolate Salted Caramel Cake. I was surprised by the moistness in the cake and crunchiness the croissant

You find bakery hot food prepared on the premises and enjoy them in a restaurant-style ambience. There are a whole lot of hard and soft drinks to choose. I ate a big hot chocolate muffin. The pastry was soft and tasty and the rich creamy filling left me satiated. Good place for some good food.

Great find for lunch in City beach. Nice outdoor seating. Don't go too late though, as they run out of sandwiches etc. Ordered from their menu and found some really tasty chorus and salmon dishes. Nice place.

Staff are rude and have no manners. No greeting or nice goodbye. Cashier walked away before my payment had been finalised! What Bakery doesn't offer sliced bread! Shame as the bread is exceptional. Mount Lawley is another story. Excellent staff, friendly, and know how to treat their customers
