Zen Yum Cha 誠 飲茶
Clean, efficient, and nice restaurant. Staff can speak English and friendly - so used to rude and abrupt like in other places. Their bbq pork buns r a little different, still tastes ok. U can see all the prices on the menu- not cheap. But food is well cooked and tasty. Also , be warned - If you plan to join up as member to get discount at yum Cha like every other rsl that offers yum Cha, don't bother! Discount applies to everything except yum Cha. U only get 5.00 off from the voucher you get from joining up. Discount here only applies to regular food (eg dinner dishes).

My family and I came tonight to Zen Yum Cha Chinese and I can confidently say that it was the nicest Chinese I have had. I would highly recommend.

We're encouraged to order much more we could eat. Seven of us and we ended up taking away 7 boxes of leftover food. The Peking Duck was the worst, and the fish maw hot pot was disappointing. Overall, the food was too salty.

Zen is located in the Ramsgate RSL, up the escalator. As far as RSLs go this is one of the nicer ones, well lit and modern presentation.I went with a HK native who really enjoyed the food and thought it was great. I'm more of a Campsie Golden Territory type myself. The food is fine, the price is a little higher per serving, but where this place wins is its service and comfort. The ladies who serve you the dimsum are gentle, polite, and will chat up with customers if you like in a friendly way. The place was far from busy when I was there, and they had on an easy going lo-fi playlist.If you've been to certain great dimsum places in Sydney, you know that good service" is absolutely not guaranteed

Good food went for yum cha. Perhaps a bit pricey, but it seems worth it the staff are friendly and helpful, the plates and cups are good quality solid. Can recommend the pan fried plain rice rolls. We ordered it and it was a very generous serving, fresh hot and crispy.Service was a bit slow, but we went when things were busy.Located in the RSL means you need to sign in. They accept bookings and stick to them which is good.

I've had Yum Cha here, twice. The food is always delicious, and the waiters are always there to help you. Easy to park in the clubs carpark, so not far to walk.l would recommend people to try it.
