Pedders Suspension & Brakes Booragoon

Hello, I made an appointment with this garage to change the rear shocks on my vehicle (I had bought them before, they just needed to be fixed). You gave me a price, after checking the condition of the vehicle, between $180 and $200.So I chose this garage specifically for that price.My appointment was at 9 a.m., and nobody would take care of the car until 9:30. At 10am, the team decided to take a 30m break. Already 1 hour lost.Time passes and I see that it's taking longer than expected. Then I see them using all sorts of tools, grinders, drills... We're talking here only about the modification of two parts, 4 bolts to remove, 4 bolts to put back, no surprise given that I'd already shown them the vehicle.They came up with some lame excuses to justify the time spent on the car.For example, they said the shocks weren't original, but I checked and it was the original TOYOTA serial number. I was there from start to finish and I could see that one mechanic out of three was working.What's more, they didn't use any WD 40 to help the bolt turn: there wasn't a single drop of WD 40 on the nut.I find it unacceptable to change the price at the last minute, especially as they had DOUBLED it compared to the original price. It's a good thing I negotiated, otherwise I'd have been screwed. If I'd known, I'd have gone elsewhere. I don't find this at all professional. Don't go there if you don't want to be ripped off.

The team did a great job with my wheel alignment. I had previously had another company wheel align the 4wd and tell me that is the best that it can be aligned. After only a short time at Pedders Booragoon, Will had it fixed. The vehicle drives and steers as it did when brand new.

Awesome service and great advice by the crew at Pedders Booragoon. A suspension and steering check was first carried out. Replaced necessary parts to eliminate knocks and clunks. In doing so I did upgrade to Xtreme Coil overs adjustable , which made a 100% better ride.Wheel alignment and ready to go. Really efficient and timely done, in a professional manner.
