Altered my dress beautifully and the customer service was great!

Susan did a wonderful job altering my sequin ball gown, the dress was originally too large. This was a big alternation and was done within a couple of days. Renee was also very helpful! Highly recommend - thank you :)

We have been very disappointed in the lack of service and the outcome of my daughter's wedding dress. We wrote an email to the manager 2 weeks ago requesting a refund of our deposit and we didn't even get a reply. Our daughter's dress was given to the Asian Lady in perfect condition, it was bought from Brides of Brisbane and the lady after the first fitting took the dress, we paid $300 towards the deposit to have it slightly amended in the bodice. Unfortunately after 10 visits (One of which they actually forgot they had made an appointment), the dress was no longer in perfect condition, with small stains on the outside, brown stains on the inside, the small beading waistline had become very loose, the front seam line down the bust line was now showing previous stitching line, the boning had been removed, in and out and one side looked loose compared to the untouched side. Note that we did ask if this was normal to have that many visits as we had never done this before. You said: Yes it was". We now know that is not correct.On the last visit we took our dress from you after our daughter burst into tears from frustration

Susan was very friendly and professional when altering my wedding dress. I cannot thank her enough! She worked so quickly and the price was reasonable. I really appreciate her hard work. She worked her magic and my dress fit perfectly on the day!

I had my wedding dress altered and a large amount of beading added. The lovely Susan was the one who did this for me and she did an amazing job!Susan was also so understanding and accomodating when I asked for more (lots more) beading to be added... she hand stitched all of them. And finally 1 week before my wedding she was so quick to do a final alteration on the length. Couldn’t be happier with the final result. Thanks again Susan!

I ordered a Shona Joy dress in a size 12 to be used as a Bridesmaid dress, it arrived 2 days before the wedding and was too large. I was so lucky a friend recommended Alter Ego. They were so lovely and accommodating. The dress was ready the same day and fit perfectly.

Expensive alteration, had the garment for a month, extra trip required, garment still not correct on collection, left dissatisfied. Minor compensation offered but this will be the first and last time I visit Alter Ego.
