Nhill Caravan Park

Disappointing, bed comfortable but en suite just outside" was not. the shower tiles needed cleaning

This is a great little caravan park and a handy stop half way between Melbourne and Adelaide. Ian, the man on the phone/front desk was lovely and really helpful. We had a site along the side near the bird reserve and it was lovely. Nice flat, grassy spot to put up our tent for the night. The amenities block was clean and the park all in all was great. We're definitely planning on stopping here on our regular trips to South Australia.

Recommended. Great value, small, independent park. Level sites ($28). Some sites have drive-through at slightly higher price ($32).We stayed in a tight site towards the back with ensuite ($38). The building was sort of 1960's but had been nicely renovated and very clean. The amenities block was nicely upgraded.There looks to be a good variety of cabins, old and new.The manager was a bit expedient and couldn't recommend a hotel or anywhere to eat at because he never left the park." Strange.The semi-trailer park is adjacent the front but we had no problem at all with the road noise. We were a bit stiff to get neighbors in camper and swag tent who sat up past midnight chatting - right under our bedroom window. Just bad luck.Happy to come back here and stay again."

Lovely little caravan park. Friendly and helpful management, great shady & grassy drive through site, clean comfortable amenities with body wash provided in showers, well kept park, clean refreshing pool - above ground so you need to be able to climb the pool ladder getting in. But great fun once in.We stopped for an overnight stay on our way to Adelaide, and it was perfect for that, but I’d happily have stayed a few nights. I’d happily stay here again!

Clean, comfortable cabin. The toilets were also pristine and the grounds well kept. Campsites near the highway would be noisy as a truck exchange is right out front but my cabin was towards the back of the park and I heard nothing

Great little stop as a stop over between Melbourne and Adelaide. Our cabin was lovely, tidy and clean and had everything we wanted. Manager/staff were friendly and very helpful. We would definately go back

Stayed in one of the new 2 bedroom apartments. Clean and modern. My partner didn't like the bed and found the mattress uncomfortable.

Not a bad place for a stopover. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable and the room had a full kitchen and a large fridge and all at a very reasonable price.. The only downside was I think the TV was on the wrong wall and you only have uncomfortable kitchen chairs to sit on and watch TV. If it was on the opposite wall there would be enough room for a small sofa to sit on and watch TV. But overall clean, comfortable at a good price.

This is our second stay here and we have been greeted in a friendly manner. The staff are all lovely and the grounds are neat and tidy with beautiful green grass.I would recommend here for people driving between Adelaide and Melbourne and vice versa as it’s bang in the middle.

I arrived late for check in, but the staff were really nice and actually waited for me.The park is small, but has everything you need: WiFi, bathrooms, powered sites, pool and is close to a service station.The park is located next to a man made lake, so it can get cold, but overall, a great park. Nhill is the halfway point between Adelaide and Melbourne, so it's great to have a great spot like this in between.The bathrooms are renovated, so they are great to use.
