Fantastic BBQ area & playground.The play area is designed for small kids with miniature versions of all the popular equipment.Lots of tables undercover with free electric BBQs. I'd be saying on a busy day there would be a fair wait on BBQs.The whole area is fenced with parking and toilets right next door. A bigger kids all abilities playground is a short walk away.Very picturesque setting by the lake with lots of ducks and a nice gentle concrete walking/bike track.

Gympie Lions Rotunda & Playground
This could be our new half way stop between Bundaberg and Brisbane. It has a Japanese garden feel. The invading Ibis have taken o er ad have built nests in most of the trees. My children liked the playground, turtles and the water features. The poop in the lake makes it an unfriendly swimming location. I tried to throw my son in, but he was too fast. I hate getting old it sucks the joy out of life.

Cooking barbecue parking at Lighthouse Oval. Took us awhile to find it. Quite old and run down, one of the double electric BBQ still not working.In saying that, lovely park, great kids playground, very clean toilets. Lovely shady areas, unfortunately the cooking facilities does let it down.
