Economy Mowers

I have been a customer of Economy Mowers for many years and have always found their service and cost excellent.We recently dropped our old ride on mower off again to see if it was worth repairing as a run around and asked for a quote.Previously, before any work was done we had ALWAYS received a call with a quote for repairs..This time I received a call telling me they had got the mower working and we could pick it up. We DID NOT receive a quote and the cost was more twice what we were prepared to pay and more importantly more than mower is realistically worth as it is not usable as a mower as the cutting deck is not safe to use.I left feeling that as customers this was not fair. and a rip off.Our advice is to make doubly sure that NO WORK is commenced before a quote is given of the estimated cost.This is not consistent with the service we were always given in the past.What has happened to previously excellent service?

I’ve been a customer of economy mowers for over 20 years. I’ve purchased everything from mowers,whipper snippers , bbqs and outdoor furniture and had servicing done many times over the years. Not only have they provided fast , friendly and professional service but also great pricing. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I also had an acquaintance who is a local grandmother ask for help with her mower. Economy mowers collected her mower repaired it and dropped it back! You don’t get that old fashioned service any more. I have no hesitation in recommending them .

Fantastic service from the spare parts department!Bought a mower there 7 years ago and finally needed parts, rang up and not only did they have the parts in stock, I received them in the post two days later!Can’t do better than that!

Excellent service with a quick turn around repair time.

Well priced, very busy combined with outdated systems (I'm talking price lists in a big parts book, need to be found, followed by a calculator to work out customer price etc) so service is always a little slow ( Don't expect to be in and out in 30 seconds!). Staff friendly, will deal with again for sure
