Top Sunday spent discovering and tasting some of the best gin in the Canberra Yass region, tucked away in the village of Wee Jasper Shannon and her friendly team ensured we had a great day. We will be visiting regularly, thanks Shannon. The cafe fare though limited complimented the tastings, and the ladies confirmed the cocktails were on point.

Situated well off the beaten track, a visit to Wee Jasper is a must for those looking to breathe in the fresh country air and relax.The Wee Jasper Distillery is a perfect place to enjoy the view and some delicious spirits. The Gin is especially superb and well worth a taste.Stop by and have a drink, coffee or a snack while sitting out the back taking in the magnificent view. Dog friendly and exceptional service, this is an awesome place to check out if passing through the area!

Fascinating owners Jenny and her daughter who have researched Gin making around the world while running marathons. Wonderful story and gin using their own home grown Austrian botanicals . Lovely experience tasting the products among the hills in Wee Jasper

Only just officially opened this weekend. Currently open Fri, Sat & Sun's ~10:00-16:00. My husband & I did a cost per tasting of the gin, dry gin & vodka. I am not usually one to like these but AM NOW! :) Shannon spent a lot of time with us explaining the whole process using local ingredients. Car park designed around large preexisting gum trees. Embroided/screen printed merchandise available at reasonable prices. Also stickers & post cards. We have a sticker on our car already. Coffee shop still developing

A gem in the wild. Was a wonderful surprise to find this modern distillery in the hamlet of Wee Jasper. Well worth a visit. Great place for a wedding or other event with beautiful scenery all around. Highly recommended

Shannon was incredibly streamline to communicate and coordinate a group booking with. On the day her team provided a spectacularly cosy, dog friendly venue. Their cheeseboards were value for money with unique and varied nibbles to complement their delicious gin and homemade cordials. Too busy enjoying the atmosphere to take photos of the stunning building and the view!

Brilliant device and a fantastic selection of spirits.We tried a variety of different sprits including vodka, gin & whisky, using local and Australian sourced ingredients, absolutely incredible!The team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and even gave us a few tasting of spirit “prototypes” on the house.Would recommended popping past for any travellers in the area.

We had a very pleasant afternoon here with friends and our families on a camping trip. Loved the gin tasting. Wished we'd stayed longer to try the cocktails before heading off on the cave tour...
