after a delay on my hilux motor rebuild at qld hilux and landcruiser centre my motor arrived back from narangba to my local mechanic workshop in dunoon northern N.S.W and the motor is now back in the hilux , it all seems good after a few drives all but a little weep of engine coolant from some of the new head welsh plugs , but otherwise the engine is running very well , i will contact andrew as my local mechanic says it is obviously not his fault but the manufacturing of the head but is his responsibility and will probably need better welsh plugs either done up in narangba queensland or by the dunnoon mechanic and hopefully reimbursed , stuart whitla

DO NOT deal with this business, they built an engine for me and in less than 5000kms the engine dropped a valve and destroyed the entire engine, they refused to accept any liability, took them to QCAT and got a order to pay, they have refused to make any refund despite a court order to do so... DO NOT deal with them, you will get ripped off

Delays and faulty parts installed, engine rebuild lasted 500ks. Refused to help after I found the issue.

Advertisement on gumtree says 2 things that are false one unlimited km warranty with no specification of time and says uses genuine or quality parts and instead uses cheap Chinese crank rods and water pump etc but charges double the cost price for the parts and after 20000km crank snapped damaging other parts motor also has blow by due to clearance of rings not being correct on top of this also cut every corner in the book brand new engines with major blow by do to him not using correct size rings or has over honed bores nothing torqued correct not to mention if he fits engines he charges for the supply of the engine then also charged for all parts that were used to build the engine very fraudulent character and business ethics
