Balcombe Dog Off-leash Area

Large fenced park, so dogs can have a good run, socialise and be free. That is till someone brings in precious toys to play one-on-one with their dog... so poor dog loses out on valuable dog play time

Great fenced in space for the doggos to run around. Good mix of big and small dogs. Owners are generally very attentive to stop any thought play. Water available.

We had a lovely visit..clean and tidy..fresh water bowls clean..there's toilets across the road at the cricket pitch..seats to use...and some shade spots..

Great park! The dogs love it there and the grass is always maintained well.

Great fully enclosed tall enough fenced dog park, plenty of activity equipment as well as water, plenty of dogs when we went, just watch your step.

Great dog park. The area is fully fenced, with a double gate system to stop dogs getting out. It was recently given new grass, and has water available for dogs. Almost all of the dogs we've encountered have been friendly, and it's been rare to see any fights.My only complaint is that there isn't a lot of shade for owners, so bring sun protection.

Good place to take small, well-behaved dogs without feeling anxious about aggressive dogs. Most owners that take their dogs here keep them in line, and most of the dogs are well socialised and looked after. Decent facilities including seating and dog bubbler, as well as plenty of grass and some shaded areas. There is plenty of room for dogs to run around and have their space, with good fencing and secure double door entry and exit areas. Ensure your dog is off the leash prior to opening the main entry door, to ensure they don't feel anxious or scared about going in. Other dogs will usually engage them in a friendly manner if you do. Please ensure that you keep an eye on your furry friend, as an aggressive or wild dog will not be tolerated here by other owners. Most owners appear friendly here, and care for their canines. This is a great place to meet them, get tips and to ensure your dog gets the balance of exercise and interaction that they need.

Dog Off-leash areas are usually good. First thing to look for is the provided facilities and water taps, dog bowls and bags. Cannot review about other dogs or their owner's behaviors but it is common sense to pick up after their own dogs. It is usually safe and secure inside and if your dog is very social, it's a good place to be at.

Now that daylight savings is over it gets very dark by 5:30pm and I was knocked over by a dog and broke my leg! Lights need to be installed in the park. Very poor lighting for a park that's open 24 hours.Everything else is great when you visit during the day.Big fenced off area, airlock gates to help prevent escaping, agility equipment, shady spots for sitting, drinking water for dogs and bins.
