Haven't been to the distillery (yet - still stuck in lockdown!), but ordered the Evoke sassafras liqueur. Only took a couple of days to arrive in WA, and is absolutely amazing! Thanks Martin.

Fascinating use of native botanicals to flavour spirits. We will enjoy our bottle of Evoke and will be sure to drop in next time we are passing by

Absolutely wonderful experience with Martin guiding us through a tasting of his sassafras spirits. Wonderful flavours and generous prices, this business is very worth visiting! I bought 2 bottles of his 2020 batch 1, and will enjoy them for a long time!Highly recommended you ring ahead to book as it is a small business run out of his own home and the operating hours may sometimes be slightly limited.

If you like good food and good spirits, this is well worth a detour! We were greeted by Martin, who gave us a little tour of both the bakehouse and the distillery, explaining every aspect of the process and what goes into making the produce. One of the spirits that he makes uses Sassafras wood, imparting an extremely unique flavour. This paired well with a tasting platter that included home made sauerkraut, salmon, toasted breads and home made hummus. There is a lot of passion that has gone into the produce, making this well worth the trip.An experience that you won't find anywhere else in Tassie.
