I made the mistake of not searching for reviews instead looking for a pet friendly motel. Owner couldn’t get off the phone to book me in & kept talking while she took my payment and just handed me the key. My room was stuck in a corner with what was apparently the cleaners smoko table covered in cigarette butts, a bag of rubbish and empty cans! Had to ask for some milk. Room was smelly and curtains hanging on by a couple of rings. Remote control was dirty and overall condition of the room was not clean. Pillows were like bricks! What this motel does not tell you is that a freight train runs all day and all night in front of the motel so no sleep. What sleep l did get was in my clothes as I was not keen on getting between the sheets. Did I mention the cockroaches?? Even my dog scratched all night and a shower did not make me feel clean. With coronavirus who wants to stay in the dirty room but I didn’t have a choice as there was nothing else available in Forbes. I’m all for budget accommodation this is no excuse. My recommendation is drive a bit further to Parkes, that was my big mistake!!

One of the worst Motels I have had the misfortune of staying at. Dirty, disgusting room. No TV remote. No cutlery. Sheets and pillows smelt. Very old decor. Take my advice and don't stay there.

Disgusting. Horrible. Be careful.I made a mistake not consider previous reviews. I paid the price of my mistake.You want honest review, look somewhere else to stay, period. Have no idea how motels are allowed to run like this. Dirty dusty rooms as if it was closed for ages. Spider webs and dead flys all over the place. It's sure that no one have cleaned or disinfected the rooms and surroundings for sometime.Milk portions provided in the fridge was out of expiry date photo provided.(03/11/21 & 05/12/21 while we stayed there on 31/12/21)We could smell the dust everywhere. My son developed a breathing difficulty staying there, He had to take Ventolin puffer to stabilise. Toilets were dirty and carpets were like they been through a flood and came back. Furniture were old and found a cigarette butts in the room.Air con was old broken, it was just fan with a jet engine, very noisy and lot of vibrations. Opening windows was the only option and couldn't sleep the whole night. Made my whole night and next day morning horrible with headache and irritation.After 4 days of stay without notice they charged us saying we where having a dog with us when we didn't. CAREFUL WITH YOUR CARD DETAILS TOO.When we went in the morning to complain office was all closed even when they say 24 hours check in. All photos provided.Do not stay here if you don't want to ruin your travel. Sleeping on the street is worth more the risk.

This is the most disgusting hotel room I have ever stayed in. Not clean. Spoons where dirty like they had been used. Shower was filthy. Calling fan looked as if it was going to fall. And on top I got electrocuted whilst Ed turning off the light in the bathroom and I told the worker and all she was sorry.

We are locals & had to evacuate our house during the recent floods. Absolutely DISGUSTING, everything you looked at or touched was filthy dirty. The owners were rude, we were there unfortunately for 3 days, not once was the room serviced, no complimentary milk, coffee, tea or even toilet paper. I was so blessed when an airbnb become available. I'm absolutely appalled to think Forbes has this Motel in town. It needs a Health Inspector to inspect this place. It would be condemned & declared in habitable. An absolute disgrace. DO NOT STAY HERE EVER.

You will find more roaches and bed bugs within this motel than all of the gutters throughout the Forbes township. My stay was disappointing to say the least. Next time I will simply save myself the hassle and sleep in the park.

Gotta be honest, I only pulled in here because it was dark, raining and I was tired after driving solo from Brisbane,and there was no vacancy anywhere else. It was a room. The carpet was stained beyond belief. I pulled back the bedspread and it was obvious that the bed linen hadn't been changed since it was used previously. Luckily I had my own pillow, rugged up and slept on top of the bed. The TV worked, so did the toilet. Better than the car I guess.

One word. Disgusting. Paid $120 for a room that was pet friendly.. walked in and left about an hour later because we couldn’t handle how feral it was. The sheets weren’t clean at all, I wasn’t expecting much but clean sheets is a must for me. Felt itchy even thinking about it then read everybody else’s reviews and their experiences with the bed bugs there. Do yourself a favour and pay the extra money to go elsewhere!
