I attended my first workshop to make a Rose Sun Dress, I couldn’t be more happy with the workshop. Amber was patient and answered all my questions, including questions outside of the project. I had a great time and walked away with new skills and a lovely new dress. Looking forward to doing many more workshops in the future!

Bon Amour Sewing Studio
I recently attended an overlocker class held by Amber at Bon Amour Sewing Studio. Amber happily answered all of my questions and showed me the amazing things my overlocker could do. She is a patient and calm instructor. I am now able to confidently re-thread my overlocker and understand the ‘why’ behind the concepts. I came away with some great new knowledge as well as an overlocker ‘stitch book’ I created for future reference. I highly recommend this class.

Amber has been amazing in teaching this beginner how to make some seriously adorable pieces. She is so incredibly patient in her teaching and is a wealth of knowledge on all things sewing. It's an added bonus having the Mums and Bubs classes and being able to bring baby along with me. The Bon Amour studio is a wonderful space filled with previous students work, amazing fabrics and all the equipment you need to get started. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Bon Amour to anyone interested in learning to sew or anyone who is looking to get a little bit of extra help on those tricky projects.

Amber is extremely knowledgable in sewing and teaching, I find it so easy to ask for help and learn from her decades in the industry. There is space for all levels of sewists and good vibes (and tunes) with like-minded people. I truly enjoy any time I spend in Amber's studio, and her workshops are projects I've always wanted to try (and very reasonably priced!)

Had the BEST experience with Amber! Signed up for the beginners course hoping I would at least be able to hem by the end. After the first day I was wearing shorts that I had made from scratch, during the week I made curtains, and then after the second day I was rocking tailored pants WITH A ZIP. Definitely exceeded my expectations, an excellent teacher who has given me the skills and confidence to not only hem but make my own clothes!
