Gosford City Farmers Markets

Finally went and did not buy anything. Find the prices are retail or above. Prefer to go to my wholesale fruit market. However, it was very popular with many customers walking away with baskets full. We were just not that impressed.

Unfortunately, this market has done a HUGE disservice to our local community by doubling the rents on the local stalls. We have lost several long time, and awesome sellers, due to this unnecessary greed! It's absolutely abhorrent! The market has now been reduced to nothing more than a pop up fair day. I'm absolutely furious!!

Local producers provide great goods. And the atmosphere is always great

Great variety of fresh produce at great prices

A decent market. The gozleme, dumplings and pizza were quite tasty. Be prepared to spend about $10 per meal. Not as much variety as I was expecting.

I love the Farmers Market! A beautiful selection of fruit and vegetables, along with other products such as olives, honey and pasta. It would be great to have a bigger selection of prepared foods.

Awesome quality fruit and veggies and good prices. There are other items sold there like jerky, honey, pastries, sauces Riccardo tomatoes fresh juices etc.Make sure you watch how the people flow through an in orderly fashion. I went the wrong way at first in one of the stores.

Gosford Sunday food market is on from 7am at Gosford Showground. Most stalls are under cover and there is a good variety of fresh produce and local products.I would suggest that you get here early so you won't miss out. Fruit and veg sells out quickly- as early as 8.30!.Would highly recommend the fresh mushroom stall, artisan bread including pumpkin, soy and linseed and sourdough. The pastry stall has the best almond croissants and also sells quiche and bread. But wait there is much more coffee, donuts, honey, wine, jams, dog treats, women's clothing, freshly squeezed juice, spices, meat, eggs, fresh flowers, candles, olives, pickles, Lebanese, Asian, Vegan, soap, bags, miso and lots of fresh Vegetables! You can have breakfast or brunch but don't be late or all the best will be gone!
