Uniting Floors

Unfinished Job.... Engaged them for sanding and restaining the timber floors. There were gaps that were not filled properly. Promised to come another day fix the issue, but kept delaying for 3 weeks now. We fixed a time to be there and was waiting but never turned up. Finally sent a message saying Fix it Yourself

Jay and his team did a fantastic job on our polished floors and they now look amazing. Jay kept us well informed at all stages of the job and was very reliable, turning up as arranged.

Jay and his team re-sanded and polished our parquetry floors. They did such a good job that it turned out better than we expected them to and looks brand new. Jay answered all my questions, turned up as scheduled, and finished a day earlier than advised which was a welcome surprise. We were very happy with the quality of the work.

We hired Jay to sand and refinish our floorboards and extend them into two bedrooms that were previously carpeted. The work is scrappy and unprofessional. What he's left us with is disappointing to say the least.Rather than matching the grade of our existing boards, he's obviously used the cheapest sub-grade boards he could find. There's wood filler everywhere, but not everything is filled, and it's a mess.He hasn't taken any care to place the boards either. The ends all cluster in the middle of the rooms. The worst imperfections are in obvious places. There are big gaps around the door jambs, etc, etc. He also hasn't left any expansion joints.The sanding and finishing isn't good either. Plenty of rough patches that catch on your socks. No care has been taken when putting on the quad, with splitting, nails hanging out, and missing nails.Plus other things: filling up our green with sawdust and other things that shouldn't be in there, putting non-recyclables in our recycling bins with things that shouldn't be in there, damaged our outdoor table, cut into our outdoor decking where he was cutting floorboards, the list goes on.Yes, he said he can come back and fix some things, but he has left me with zero confidence in his workmanship. I'm sure it will be more of the same.

We are very happy with the work that Jay did to bring our old raw floors back to life. He was determined to get the work done on time and was very accommodating. He listened to every request we had and executed it perfectly! He will go above and beyond to ensure you are happy with the results :)We will be having him back to do the rest of our house!

Jay and his team did a great job with the flooring in our new house. The job involved removing and disposal of an old carpet, and then the sanding, staining and polishing of the floor. Jay's communication through the process was always friendly, polite and prompt, from progress updates to consulting with us on colours etc. The end result looks really beautiful and it's made a big difference to the look of the house.
