The homemade sausage rolls were very nice. While I was ordering these and coffee a senior worker spoke to her coworker in a derogatory manner in front of multiple customers, which honestly made me feel embarrassed and wanted to leave. This itself would make me reluctant to go back.

Visited @ 1630 pm on the 09/06The customer service staff behind the counter really need to learn what’s socially acceptable to talk about behind the counter. The young man with the long hair walked around from out the back holding a bunch of sticks asking the girl at the till WHILE SHE WAS SERVING A CUSTOMER if she knew a bunch of sticks was called a ‘faggot’. And she egged him on saying ‘you know what would be politically correct; calling you a girl’ to the lad with long hair. I was prepared to spend my money here to get some snacks for the road home. But you can guarantee I won’t be returning. Abysmal behaviour from people of age that should know better. Meanwhile the older employee sat in the customer tables giggling.

Very poor hygiene male toilets. I am surprised to see the leakages in the toliet. Will not return this place again.

Just stopped in for some quick takeaway food.The staff were pleasant as always, and very accommodating for my Gluten Allergy.Purchased a steak sandwich on gl bread, and it was the nicest, tenderest and most perfectly made steak sandwich l have had for some years.Thanks again to the team.I always stop in when in the area. See you on the next trip.

No prices of hot food displayed and person at counter was giving different prices for same item so couldn't determine price of items even with asking. Extremely poor experience.

Stood in line for 10 minutes.Service was ridiculously slow. Staff incompetent at being able to manage more than 1 customer.Rude young staff.

I usually don't rate road houses but decided to stop in here for toilet break on the way home from Townsville well worth it sure they had the usual hot box fare but also had a good choice of homestyle products we had pea and ham soup sausage roll and trifle all made in store if you need a stop it's clean and modern
