Michel's Dry Cleaners

Brand new designer tuxedo wool pants, not worn, tag still attached. Just asked for a press around the ankles of the pants to get out some small creases from alteration hem. Somehow the people who work in the warehouse (sent away, press not onsite) thought it be a good idea to press OUT all the front and back pleats. Fml. Took elsewhere to repress. Wasn't worth the waste of time or risk of damage to garment. The desk clerk didn't seem coherent at drop off, I should have known better from that. I hope this review helps others to decide.

Gave them a trouser for a dry clean service they gave it back to me with cuts every where. Firstly they didn't tell me, I saw the cuts after going home. Secondly they still charged me $13.5! ... I went back to them and got no answer on why that happened.

They are trying hard. Give them a chance. Hit and miss experience.

The worst dry cleaning experience ever! I used to go to Lawrence Drycleaners for many years. The business was recently sold to Michel’s I understand. I took a beautiful designer shirt to them for dry cleaning as there was a little bit of make up on the collar. They said it would be ready the next day. I did not receive the routine text to say that it was ready for collection so I went in to collect it a few days later.The girl at the counter brought my shirt to me totally destroyed. There was liquid blobs over the shirt and some of the blobs had a hardened appearance.I asked what happened and she went to the back of the shop and reappeared with a Chinese man who in a loud broken English voice told me that I had brought the shirt in like that.I said of course I didn’t- it had a little makeup on it and now it has been ruined by the dry cleaner. He said in a rude tone and a smirk again “what are you going to do about it? “Such different service to the usual one customers received from Lawrence dry cleaning.They did not even put the wrecked shirt in a bag and they all just walked away from the counter. What a an awfully dreadful experience!While I was waiting in the shop and for the girl to retrieve the shirt from the hanging area of clothes clothes she said “which shop am I in?”She had a big load of dry cleaning in her arms.I said this I believe this is now Michel’s. She said “let me get out of here- I don’t come here ever as they are not good and I’m sorry to tell you but you are about to have a time of if from these guys it and see why I don’t come here” and she hurried out of the shop.Unbelievable really to take zero responsibility, make no offer of compensation or apology and just to literally walk away and leave a customer at the counter shocked and disappointed.It looks like a well- honed strategy in this business when they have destroyed a customer’s clothes.Avoid at all costs because it could easily be your clothes next!

Great service and friendly staff always with a smile. Garments are always returned better than new and alterations service is well priced and quick turnarounds.

I had ruined a shirt by washing it with dark colours and the wonderful staff help me get it back to white! They did a wonderful job and amazing customer service!

Dry cleaners always get a bad wrap as far as reviews go —so I’m taking the time to say these guys do a great job every time. They pressed and stretched a recently dyed linen jacket expertly, and plainly take a great deal of care with what they do. Recommended.

Lawrence Dry Cleaners have been consistently great. They take a lot of care with really delicate pieces and always do so in a timely manner - would highly recommend!
