The best piazzas in Leichhardt. This place has been in Leichhardt for years. Always enjoy going here to take away thin crust pizzas. They are simply delicious tried most flavours and they are happy to add or remove items from your toppings depending on taste preferences.

Love this place. Pop is of course the boss but Charlie makes the best pizzas. A family run pizzeria and you feel that. Always welcoming and friendly. It is cash only and a great laid back place to take the family and friends. Top place.

Not sure if they cut it into triangles or squares or if stacking it on top of each other is a delivery technique to keep it warm…but it didn’t taste bad…other than the rectangular slices with no sauce or cheese on them.

Retro Italian eatery but obviously they have stood the test of time, catering for a certain clientele loving hearty dishes from the back kitchen, and crusty base pizzas from the front. Compact, plain and a bit noisy at times, however it adds to its charm and feel of a true old school family run business. Certainly their pizzas are not fancy but great.

Is there a suburb where the label ‘Best Pizza’ is more contentious or more deserved when won? Anyone who has eaten at Il Cugino knows it is well won and there is no contention. This is pizza how you remember it as a kid, smells like a pizza shop, service amazing and they do not scrimp on the toppings.That not enough for you? They also have amazing meson courses and BYO, yes that’s BYO, with such a small corkage I don’t remember so maybe $5. Wouldn’t surprise me if they waived it. The octopus and calamari was cooked to perfection.The reason we keep going back are the pizzas tho. Top notch
