By far the most disorganised owner ever. Had an appointment to see the venue and she messages 20 mins before the appointment (when we are almost there) that she can't make it

I booked this venue well over a year ago and they were very hard to get in contact with or get information from. On three occasions I went up to meet them and all 3 times The owner was late one time I was there waiting for well over an hour. Hardly responded to emails or text messages. Sometimes it would take 3 weeks to get a response and that was with emailing and texting to try get them to respond.The owner only was available to talk late at night sometimes 11pm on a week night and if I didn’t answer she would then not respond.Unfortunately I cannot comment on how the actual wedding day went as they canceled on me 5 weeks out. The reason was due to the pandemic and the restrictions changing. This was on the 4/9/20 the restrictions had not changed since 24/7/20.I was being pressured to make decisions on my day due to her daughter deciding the week before she canceled that she wanted to get married on the Sunday after my wedding. I believe this is the real reason she canceled so she could have my weekend.Very heartbreaking planning a wedding somewhere for over 12 months to then have to replan everything again in 5 weeks. They did give me a full refund on the what I paid but still very unorganised and unprofessional.Not what I wanted my wedding planning/day to be

I was part of a wedding at this venue in 2018. The Owner was rude and the service was terrible. When we complained that the bride and groom were not served their food, the staff member yelled at me.The owner regularly tells people they are 'The new owner' to excuse their past failures, when this isn't true.The Blue Mountains are so beautiful- i recommend booking any other venue.

Very rude business owner. Definitely would not recommend to family or friends. Very disorganised.

By far the best and happiest day of our lives! The venue was amazing and made even more magical due to the wet weather. Jo and her team were a pleasure to deal with and made the process so easy (especially through COVID). Jo even went dumpster diving the day after the wedding as my lace sleeves accidentally ended up in the bin! She is an absolute legend!!

Jo and her team were absolutely amazing with the whole process. From keeping us updated with all the covid regulations and what we were able to have, to the set up and last minute rain adjustments. The food was absolutely top of the line, pizza and cakes were so fresh and made on site, with the best staff, not letting a single guest go by without making sure they were tended too. The behind the scenes were amazing, from the execution of the day to the way they approached the rain. Not a single hitch, the day went amazingly!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Definitely will be recommending Jo and her team to anyone who needs a wedding venue!! :) :) 100/10

Not the most organized bunch, during the wedding ceremony the speaker kept turning off. The music literally turned off when the bride was entering, they fixed it and it turned off again during the vowels which sadly nobody heard. The lady who married them seemed as though she had better places to be luckily enough the bride and groom were awesome enough to keep it all going swell. The toilets were pretty grose aswell, they didnt even have the courtesy to fill the hand paper towels, they just dumped a big handy roll for you to help yourself, it was pretty soggy half way thru the night. The lighting outside was atrocious you could barely see where you were going. Well and truly nicer venues out there that ensure the basics are done to a good standard. 2 stars for the food

I did a live wedding painting here as a surprise gift from the bride's friend. It was a little hard to see the entrance and the parking was a tight fit but when I saw the venue, it reminded me of a wedding I painted in the Hunter Valley. It had the big tree with the swing and lots of green! Luckily it didn't rain on the day but because it was still wet from the February rain, I was bitten by lots of mosquitos (so make sure to bring repellant)! Jo and Alan took really great care of me and my assistants and gave us bug repellant and even bay leaves from their trees! This place has a lot of great photo opportunities.

An amazing experience. Jo and her team went above and beyond to make our special day magical. We were dealing with torrential rain and last minute changes but nothing was too much for these guys. They are amazing. When you walk into this place it takes your breath away. The place is simply stunning. The food was exactly what we wanted and tasted amazing, everything went off without a hitch. Strongly recommend the Turpentine Tree if you want a happy stress-free day. 5 stars isn't enough
