Parramatta
A major transportation hub of Suburban Sydney. Parramatta station boasts of a number of passenger amenities including major connectivity to a number of places across suburban Sydney and Central Sydney. It's served by limited stop local trains, all-stop local trains and intercity trains with high service frequency. The station has 4 platforms and is very clean.

Staff do not sell tickets. You need to buy tickets from a machine located near the platform entry gates. Tickets are also sold from a nearby newsagent - ask for an Opal Card which can be topped up at either train stations or via the Opal Card app. Long lines at the Opal Card machine during peak hour. Express trains from here to Sydney, and other areas in western Sydney and western NSW.

I love Parramatta Train Station and I go through there a few times a week.It has a great design and it carries lots of people in and out. During peak hour, you get trains each few minutes and it's easy to get to the city. The staff there are really good and whilst there used to be lots of crime around there, it's been cleaned up over the years.Great spot and well done when it comes to stations!

Changing quickly. Hadn't been for a while couldn't recognise some places. Tram still not running. No street signs on roads running across Church street. Still a good place to visit.

I'm disappointed with the Parramatta Westfield/Station management. These photos are of the escalator to the station/Westfield closest to Max Brenner, Parramatta. This escalator has been out of order for more than a month, if not 6 weeks. And this is definitely not the first time. I, and others like me, now depend on the lift to access the station. Sadly, sometimes, when the lift is out of order, it is a painful experience for all of us. We either put up with the pain and use the stairs or spend precious time to get to other entrances and miss our train. Very disappointing!

Busy, although a good and frequent train service. The station does have lifts and you can get around easy.
