Vasko Restaurant Functions
I've been looking for another favourite restaurant lately with no luck. Until yesterday, when I found Vasko. Right atmosphere, right lighting, right temperature, yummy food and excellent service. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because of pricing. It's a bit dear but I guess I can put up with it as I do not go out for dinner very often these days. I'll come back and bring my friends with me!

We held my daughter's 21st in their function room and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. Dealing with David (Functions manager) was so easy, there was no pressure we could make changes and he was a pleasure to deal with.The room itself was perfect for our needs with it's own bar, the food was very good, freshly made and tasty (got lost of positive feedback from our guests) and the staff were wonderful.It was a totally awesome experience. My husband and I went to this establishment for a Xmas lunch. The entree servings were very small. We then waited an hour for the main meal which was not of the Xmas theme at all. Instead we were served roast brisket lamb with potatoes which were all over salted. It was that salty that it was burning the back of our throats. We were charged almost $195 per head and it was not worth it. The room was so so very warm and loud.Bitterly disappointed to say the least. We will not be returning ever.

Great family run Italian restaurant. Usually pretty busy as the food is so good. Super friendly and warm. Awesome variety of foods including seasonal seafood. great place to have a dinner date or family dinner. A bit pricey but well worth it in my opinion.

Beautiful and delicious meals. Been here twice and never a dissatisfaction. Food were flavorful and cooked to perfection. Services were wonderful as well. Poliet and knowledgeable. Will return again.

Best local restaurant for extra fancy !! Take a date and you won’t be disappointed!! The staff are amazing and knowledgeable- be sure to have vaskos signature chivapps!! They are homemade and are out of this world !! 5 star restaurant in Ivanhoe .

Service was slow, we weren't even offered coffee and dessert. We were there for hours on a Friday night for dinner. Nice wines on offer.
