Just Bathrooms

John Anthony trading as Just Bathrooms renovated my bathroom in July 2016. I was not happy with the quality of work and refused to pay him the outstanding balance of $5700. John stated that the work was done to Building Code of Australia" standard.I lodged a complaint to the department of fair trading. The department of fair trading instructed me to pay another $4000 and issued a rectification order for 6 items and gave John 4 weeks to complete the rectification. I paid the $4000 on the day i was instructed to.John turned up on the last day of the 4 weeks he was given to start the rectification work. I told him to go away. Fair trading gave him another two week extension. I was not happy with the way the work was done but fair trading closed the case and said i would have to lodge another complaint. John and i settled at NCAT for a balance of $600."
