The owner of the business is rude and shouldn't be in customer service. The large chips for $7.90 didn't feed three people and were also the ones in the bottom of the bag. The grilled" fish for which you charge $0.60 extra

I had a Cheese & Bacon Burger with lettuce, onion, mustard & BBQ sauce and 2 potatoe cakes. Honestly the best burger I've had in a very long while! Much better than Hungry Jack's. Beef was cooked well, tasty. Bun was seeded & fresh. Flavour was amazing! Large size. This is the kind of burger that makes you want to come back! Well done boys!

Worst fish and chips ever! Service was disgusting! Couldn't eat the flake, it was rubbery, hard and couldn't even cut through it. The boss informed us that it was safe to eat. When we said it tasted disgusting he said yes but it cost me money and it is safe to eat.

We ordered through menulog and we didnt receive any chips. Wecalled the restaurant direct to ask why we didnt receive our chips. The fish n chip shop said that packdoesn't come with chips. Ok, my mistake. I just assumed the pack came with chips.I asked if he was the owner andhe said yes.I said I think its disappointing to pay that and not recieve chips in the pack.The owner" then raised his voice at me and started going on about their fees they pay to menulog

****ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING****I should have read the reviewed first, I was craving good chicken & chips. The chicken I think had been cooked yesterday, so dry and like it had been reheated. The chips were soggy cooked in old brown oil. It was absolutely fowl. I don’t know how they are still in business. They were busy too. People around must be happy with eating disgusting food.Really really terrible, I don’t often leave reviews so this is saying something.

Good fish n chips. Good value, home made potato cakes, burgers were good. Fish was nice.They actually messed up our order and we didn't realise until we got home but they were great and offered to give our money back or come back and get the rest. Definitely make it a regular take away.

Bought the sailors pack, which clearly states that it has gravy in it. Asked for the chips to have extra chicken salt, emphasising the extra. There was hardly any salt, and wasn't actually given any gravy, which I only found out too late when I got to the car. Fish was average, potato cake was good and dim sum was good, but not even getting what I ordered.

April 2023: An update on my previous review (below), where the quality and quantity of the products here have fallen dramatically since January 2022. The $15 worth of chips that we ordered was probably only around $10 worth and they had too much salt on them. The flake was ok, but not as good as Gippy fish and chips (also in Drouin). As for the potato cakes and dim sims, well, they were all too small and very sad looking too. This place desperately needs to lift its game and we'll be giving it a miss for a while now.January 2022: A huge thumbs up from me for this store being open on new year's day. My family had been hanging out for fish and chips, and this was the only store open in Drouin on new year's day. The 10% public holiday surcharge was reasonable, as it was also a hot day and the staff earnt every cent of their wages that day. Thanks once again for being open.
