Spotting the giant metal sculpture of Stanley the Emu was a pleasant surprise during our road trip. It provided a great photo opportunity and a chance to stretch our legs. A unique rest stop that adds a touch of whimsy to the journey.

Not a great fan of the arts. But this is a surprising item on the side of the road near Lightning Ridge. Cleverly done and certainly acts as a landmark.

A very impressive sculpture which must have taken some heavy lifting equipment to lift into place. If the kids are bored with it ask them to spot the Volkswagen parts in the sculpture!Enjoy
