So knowledgeable, friendly and ready to help!Too my daughter to get a very idea-specific, modern/medieval costume together, and we were make to feel very welcome, and despite having to try on numerous items, were never made to feel like we were a bother.Great experience, thank you so much!

Good variety of masks, accessories, costumes, staff were helpful in finding what I needed.

With just five business days to go until halloween, I desperately needed a mask. During times like these with COVID I didn't like my chances of getting one posted to Tassie in time. I found this store online after searching for somewhere for over an hour within Australia and almost gave up. I ordered it late Sunday night and despite COVID and Victorian lockdown it was sent on Monday morning and arrived on Wednesday morning with three days to spare. I called the store on monday morning to confirm they got my order and they were polite and confirmed it has been packaged and ready to send. Very reasonably priced as well. My only suggestion to the store would be to organise confirmation emails for online orders, as i was worried that my order hadn't gone through as i didn't receive one upon payment, which resulted in me frantically calling as i was worried it wouldn't come in time. Other than that, i am extremely happy :)

Very nice helpful staff. Will ensure you get what you want and have a huge repertoire of items for buy and hire. Hire policy is fair and if you take care of items they will easily give back deposit. Have recommended to friends

Needed a last minute, 70's themed costume when my online order from elsewhere didn't show up in the time frame I was promised and budgeted on (still hasn't). The girls at Abracadabra were absolutely brilliant in helping me out, almost immediately, during a lockdown. 2 hours later I had a fully kitted out costume for a 70's do, and at a far cheaper price than I'd originally paid for my online order. I won't go anywhere else from now on for my costumes, I'm that impressed and satisfied with the service and assistance I got.Thank you so much, from a very happy Ken doll. :-)

Very disappointed by the ladies working in Abracadabra today.Entered to see two staff members behind the counter. The first lady on the phone looked up and shushed me and my colleague when we entered. The other avoided us, and when we followed her around to be serviced, she looked up and said What? We're very busy

Staff sold me a mask but purposefully didn't tell me that the mask was chipped. I took it back, and was told to 'just colour in the chips with marker'. They shouldn't have sold it to me for full price in the first place, and I didn't appreciate not being told about the damage to the mask.

I needed some 1940s gangster gear. The person who served me knew exactly what I needed and didn’t oversell anything that I didn’t need.

I was just verbally abused by the owner because I didn't have all the info wrt how to get our deposit back. so he started yelling at me for asking questions about how and when we can arrange getting the deposit back - and the excuse - he's under a lot of pressure. Really, we all are, that doesn't give him the right yell at me like that.
