I’ve had Max over a few times over the last 3 years to help train my staffy Blue, and he’s been nothing but amazing! He’s helped train Blue with lead walking, reaction to other dogs through learnt behaviour, and is honestly the best dog trainer on the coast! 10/10 highly recommend! Your dogs will be in good hands.

Max has made such a huge difference with my 4 year Labradoodle Archie in 2 sessions already! I thought 4 years would be too late to start training him. Archie’s behaviour on lead and towards other dogs has improved so much. Making walks so much more enjoyable for both of us. I Cannot recommend Max enough. He’s great !

Max has been helping me with my dog who is very anxious on walks and no leads manners. We have come such a long way after 1 session, looking forward to seeing what we can do in the next couple!I’ve used a few other trainers and feel like they had a set training plan that wasn’t really tailored to me or my dog and left me feeling like the goal was not achievable for me. Max took the time to understand the relationship with me and my dog and worked through that to make a plan that worked for everyone.

Pro Pups Academy was the best start for my pup Ryder - he had comprehensive training and was so enthusiastic to learn thanks to Max’s training methods. Ryder has since gone into 1:1 training with Max to become a therapy dog and I couldn’t be happier with his training. Max gives heaps of specific tips to work on and has helped with some behavioural issues like confinement stress and separation anxiety with my pup. Ryder is going to be an amazing assistant thanks to Max

We had 3 sessions with Max to help our 2 cocker spaniels with a few issues that were bothering us.Not only did we feel super comfy having Max in our home, but our super timid boy, Goose took to him instantly and had amazing success!In 1 session alone we were saw a huge improvement in the dogs walking with our pram.Max makes training fun and you can tell has a genuine passion for helping dogs and owners have better relationships.We love Max!!

Credit where credit is due. We have worked with Max in the past with our previous furbaby. We have a new puppy and called on Max again for help with training. Main concern was biting, and we didn't just want to put up with the biting, because that's what puppies do"
