Hamilton Island Weddings

Hamilton Island Weddings were absolutely amazing in ensuring that the process was easy and stress free! With multiple postpones weddings, every single vendor was incredibly understanding and helpful throughout all of the changes. Our wedding planner was Keeley Murrihy and she made the process so exciting and perfect. Keeley ensured that we had minimal stress throughout the process and was extremely down to earth and fun to work with. We have, and will continue to encourage friends and family to have their weddings on Hamilton Island.

Can't thank Hamilton Island Weddings enough! My partner and I decided to elope to Hamilton Island at the last minute. The day was only made possible by the hard work and efforts from the awesome Hamilton Island Weddings Team. Loved working with the friendly, kind and talented Shay as our wedding planner- nothing was ever too much trouble for her. Kylie our celebrant was absolutely incredible! Could not have asked for a more genuine and beautiful soul to marry us. Finally, Kirby was our photographer! He's a gifted photographer who makes you feel so comfortable. Kirby's skill in editing was also top notch! Simon, our videographer was also great to work with! He was very fun and down to earth! We haven’t seen our video yet- but we already know it will be fabulous! Thank you for making our dreams come true, Hamilton Island Weddings Team.

Would not recommend:We had planned to get married in October 2023 and paid our deposit to secure a date. Unfortunately Hamilton Island Weddings were so hard to contact (no one answers the phone) and emails were sometimes not responded to or would take ages for a reply. We were told we would receive a discount code for ourselves and our guests to book accommodation (this comes with the wedding package) within 2 weeks of receiving our deposit - 2 months later and still nothing. We wanted to give our guests as much notice as possible, which we relayed to Jade at Hamilton Island Weddings but still couldn't accomplish that simple task. I reached out to Hamilton Island visitors page on Facebook for others that had recently had a wedding on Hamilton Island and had numerous brides private message me saying not to do it and it was a terrible experience. Hamilton Island Weddings are supposedly providing a services of wedding planning to take the stress off the bride and groom and if anything they caused more stress. Wedding is cancelled and we have now lost our deposit due to their lack of the service they claim to provide. Really disappointed.

The service is outstanding notably the service of Katy in food and beverage also Emma wi shines in the wedding management also .There is always a silver lining with these two ladies they are to be highly recommended.

Having my wedding at Hamilton Island was magical. I loved seeing all my wedding guests before the big day and planning events in the lead up. The ceremony and reception lived up to all my expectations and exceeded anything I had imagined. Peter Upton was our celebrant and he did a wonderful job. The chapel on the beach was so beautiful and as for the reception, all my guests raved about the food - it was one of the best meals ever! The reception venue was like a dream, the styling and floral were just next level. Justin took some amazing photos that I will treasure forever. Hamilton island was such an amazing place to get married however they need to reconsider their coordinators!We originally contracted in 2019 but due to covid we were forced to reschedule our wedding in 2020 & 2021. Our first 2 coordinators, Mikaela and Keeley unfortunately left for personal reasons. These ladies were amazing during our dealings and made the whole process smooth and easy. However when Julz was assigned to take over the quality of service dropped.Julz became very unresponsive, has no telephone etiquette, rude & unorganised. The whole process with her was very stressful!3 weeks before our wedding we were told we had too many people for the yacht we had chosen even though she had known for a year.We had to ask her multiple times for our final balance. She kept sending an old draft that we asked her multiple times to update it as there had been changes months prior. She organised a phone meeting however didn’t call until the following day and offered no apology.2 days before the wedding I was “booked” for a spray tan however when I arrived Hamilton Island Beauty had no record of the booking.I had to chase her on the day for my flowers, suit & dresses that went to get steamed. When the dress finally came I put it on however the photographer said Julz was supposed to tell me not to put it on until he got there. Julz broke our sand ceremony jar. Our guest song selection didn’t get played & both my husband and I arrived on the beach before our guests got there! The transfer bus from the marina to the hotel was too small to fit all our guests.The whole day was a mess right from the get go due to poor planning by Julz!

I highly recommend booking your Hamilton Island Wedding with Keeley, she is truly amazing at her job and loves planning your big day as much as you will.She made planning our wedding so easy and fun, I loved every minute of it, I wish we could do it all over again.Thank you so much for everything you have done for us Keeley, we will be forever grateful for your help in planning our dream wedding.

My husband and I had the absolute best experience with the Hamilton island wedding team. Emma Doran was our coordinator and she planned the most incredible ceremony and reception for us. Everything truly exceeded our expectations. All of the vendors on the island were also so incredibly supportive and talented. Special shout-out also to our photographer Kirby who made our wedding day extra special!

Could not recommend Hamilton Island Weddings more! They went above and beyond to help me create the most perfect proposal for my now fiancè. They were reasonably priced, took photos, videos and set up a private picnic for us. It was the most perfect proposal and day we will never forget. Special thank you for Caitlin! She was amazing at responding to my questions and helping me set up the most perfect proposal!
