Beautiful setting, great pitches and fantastic venue to be at. I refereed the womens premiership game there on Saturday and was an absolute pleasure. Well done all!

Home of the GPS Gallopers the Ashgrove Sports Ground is a hive of activity on training nights and every weekend of the winter season. No surprise given this local sports field boasts a clubhouse, spectator stand, scoreboard, three rugby fields, a genuine cricket pitch and nets. If you live in the area it's well worth a trip down on any game day to enjoy the atmosphere and socialise with the locals.What I happen to love about these ground is the picturesque scenery on offer. The grass is always a deep shade of green and the creek that wraps around its borders provides some nice foliage. The surrounding mountains are a sight to behold as they provide a nice bit of shade in the afternoons and bring a chill to the place the moment the sun is down. So if you feel like a walk around Ashgrove at any time of day it might be an idea to take the pedestrian path around these impressive grounds.The sportsground is also the house for Ashgrove parkrun" a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards

Love coming here for cricket and walking the tracks around the grounds, just beautiful

Fields look great, clubhouse is a good set up, people are friendly, need a couple of field marshals though

A wonderful place to watch the local Brisbane Rugby Union being played. GPS v West's, great game of football. Plenty of good seating area available around the ground on the grassed area. Limited parking is available onsite. Street parking is available as well.Good canteen & bar area onsite. Good family area, pet friendly so long as dog's are on a leash.
