I’m in my late 40s, and a bit of a ‘frequent flyer’ in the health system, courtesy of a life well lived, including a chronic over-estimation of my sporting prowess and a general indifference to making smart choices about activities that might affect my health.And so, speaking as an ‘expert patient’, Stradbroke Medical Centre is by some margin the best practice I’ve ever been fortunate enough to access (for four years now). I’m keenly aware of that privilege every time I visit. All of the staff are kind, efficient and helpful, and the GPs are highly skilled, patient and non-judgemental. Dr Kara, in particular, is a doctor with a depth of knowledge that can’t help but inspire confidence. Her deep empathy is an awesome bonus.It’s no coincidence that the practice is conceived, built and run by women. It should be a model for how health services are delivered nationally. Thank you for what you all do.

I have been visiting the medical centre for 17 years and I am very happy with their service. The staff are kind and helpful and dedicated to their work. Dr.Anna took over the management a few years ago and in that time has brought about its accreditation under the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner. Those of us who get ear blockages and ear infections are blessed by their ear microsuction machine. The skin clinic which can perform minor procedures is also a boon. They now also refer to additional service providers: physiotherapy, psychological therapies, osteopathy, audiology, dietetics, massage and bowen therapy. Dr. Anna’s medical centre is a well run establishment with much to offer and a great staff.

Very friendly staff who are always willing to help in anyway they can. They are also very flexible and were able to fit me in for an appointment the very next morning after I called. Cannot recommend these guys enough. If you catch a cold or scrape your knee and your in the region, go to these guys first.

The whole process of making a booking, being welcomed at reception and outstanding medical treatment was first class. Highly recommended and we are very lucky to have this excellent service available at Point Lookout!
